LOVE MY NEW COAT!

Excited to see if it keeps me warm this winter. I love how light weight it is! 4 stars because I bought a medium which is what I usually ware but it was to small in the chest area. I had to search stores in my state to find a bigger size. I would recommend sizing up if you order online.

I really like this jacket. It’s perfect in between length. I am 5 ft 4. Covers my butt but not too long that it is cumbersome. I ordered both the small and medium. The medium fit loose but the small was super tight. So if you are in between sizes order the larger one. I wish the hood was removable but not a deal breaker. The arms are a bit loose and this is where the small fit better but I couldn’t zip it up. Very nice jacket. It’s warm despite being fairly thin. I bought it for a trip to San Francisco and to wear on colder days/nights in so cal.

Bought these for my wife. Love the look and style. She absolutely loves them. They were a bit tight to get on but she expects them to loosen up a bit as they get worn.

I wear a xs/sm usually and this parka in small is a great fit for me.(The medium just didn't look as nice and fitted on me)I still will have room to wear turtlenecks or sweaters underneath for more warmth.I like that it has a more fitted look, is lightweight, not bulky and I've warn it so far in the 40-50 degree weather on walks and in the wind. It has kept me warm.It is a perfect length, not too short as some I've tried, and not too long to encumber me while on long walks. I did give it 4 stars only due to the fact that the hood does not zip off if you do not want to wear the hood, but it wasn't enough of a deal breaker not to buy this coat.

I love this coat! I live in South Dakota. It has been the perfect coat to wear to my kids fall sporting events. I have stayed warm and cozy. I plan to wear it throughout the winter. Our winters are COLD! It wouldn’t work to wear outside for long periods in cold temps (like for skiing or hunting) bur I don’t think it’s made for that anyway ?? It’s also cute and stylish and I couldn’t beat the price! The only negative is the arms are a bit short for me.

The only reason I gave this jacket 4 stars instead of 5 is the overall length of the jacket. I was disappointed that it did not fully cover my bottom (as I thought it would given the pictures and reading reviews) and this is what I was looking for in a new winter jacket. I am 5'8" and the jacket just barely covered my bottom. The red color was beautiful and the price was amazing given the initial impression of quality.

It's a beautiful jacket in a beautiful color, very sturdily made. I'm a small and found it a bit more snug than preferred. I had tried a medium and found it a little too big. Fabric is shiny and sturdy.

Warm and comfy! Seemed bigger than my usual size large in TNF but not so big to be returned. I love the extra length being a parka and the hood! If only the hood were bigger. My eyeglasses get wet and so does the front of my hair and forehead.

I use it daily when I'm outdoors!!!

For a female with any hips or butt, this is not the coat for you. I am 5’2” about 130lb. I ordered a SM, which is my normal size and the arms are long. I could hardly zip it starting at the bottom. I had a similar issue with a Northface jacket that I had ordered. If I order a larger size the arms would be really long.

The item fit true. The shell was kind of shiny, and the arms swished when you walk and rub against the body. The zip on my purchase was difficult: kept consistently sticking when trying to fit the little end piece in/out, to put on/off. This was really annoying. So, I am returning this item. If you can work the zip, this is a great price for a warm and practical parka.

Returning. Fabric has cheesy WalMart-y sheen to it. Otherwise good quality, fit & style

I like the jacket the only bad thing about it is the hood. The hood is very small it can't cover my head completely. So went it rains I get part of my head wet.

Beautiful coat but sleeves are way too wide. I bought an XL and the rest of the coat fits just fine. But it seems that I can fit two of my arms inside each sleeve. Unfortunately I'll have to return it.

Much as I like it, I need something I can wear in all weather. Will return it.

I have been buying the Aconcagua jacket for close to 10 years now, I have gone through several colors and have always been happy. Decided to try out the parka this year and was really disappointed. First of all, the colors are pretty bland. Secondly, I have been a S in all north face (4-6 in other stores) and the S was way too tight on me. As another reviewer stated it is a very slim straight cut all the way down and if you are athletic or curvy at all will likely be too tight... but the top portion fit as the other aconcagua jackets have. I have a slightly long torso so it hit just below my butt, and shorter than I expected. I was also disappointed with how lightweight it feels. I have an old worn one from 2008 that feels heavier than this parka. Not what I expected.

Beware. The black version of this coat is absolutely nothing like shown in photos. Very unflattering fit and style. Cheap iron on North Face label, not stitched in like they used to be. Overall cheaply made coat for the price paid so I will be returning.
