I thought this bag may be too thin/flat, but I was pleasantly surprised. I am a fairly minimal carrier but I like to be able to see everything when I open the bag. There are 2 long zippers on the front. The bottom one has the perfect depth for a slim card case and cash- super easy to get to, no need for big bulky wallet. The other front zipper has a little more depth, and is perfect for slim compact mirror, lipgloss, lip balm and my Listerine strips ??. The zipper compartment on the back has a really soft lining and would be great for phones HOWEVER I have the iPhone X Max with folio case and it MAY fit if I really try to cram it in there, so instead I use it for a small bottle of hand sanitizer and/or sanitizer wipes. The main compartment has 2 gussets slip pockets; I use one for reading glasses, the other for my planner (size of a checkbook) because yes, despite all the technology, I still have to be able to open up my paper calendar and write things in with a real pen. ?? The large zip compartment inside fits a small pillcase, powder compact and a few other little small incidentals. The main part of the bag has my keys at the bottom (I never use them because of keyless car entry) so it’s no big deal to have at the bottom of the bag. And also in that compartment my phone, and a little travel size Aquaphor because it has a million uses! Then there is room to spare, could fit small travel umbrella or makeup case etc if needed. I got the Navy floral print- super neutral and casual. I love the strap. It’s completely adjustable instead of just having a few holes to pick from, and it is so SO soft, which not only makes it comfortable on the shoulder, but keeps it from sliding off the shoulder. While the bottom of the bag is flat and approximately 2” wide, this bag stands on its own once you put your things in it (for some reason that’s important to me to be able to set the bag down and not have to lay it down ???????). Bag can be wiped off easily with warm soapy cloth if needed. Water/rain runs right off of it, so no worries if you’re caught in a downpour. So, while this review is a little much TMI ?? it covers the kind of stuff I want to know when considering an online purchase of a bag that I can’t see in person. *I actually have my eye on the Pastel color while it’s still on sale. ??

I love Sakroots bags - especially this one. The size is perfect for for the everyday essentials. I think the crossbody strap is very comfortable on the skin. And the fact that the fabric of the bag is coated means it doesn't get dirty! I love Baggallini cross body bags as well, but have to retire so many bags because they "age". This one I have had for a year and it still looks new. The zippers work smoothly. There's room for everything in a relatively small bag. It just works. LOVE.

I loved the design of this purse, but the zipper broke after only three weeks use.......Thus will never buy another purse from this manufacturer.

I was looking for a lighter purse than my leather ones, and one that was less expensive, also. I found everything I was looking for in this purse. I ordered the purse in sunlight flower power and it's so summery without being garish. I get compliments everywhere I go! There is room for my wallet and and much more, plus roomy pockets inside and out. The pockets are even big enough for my large phone and the attached tassels and butterfly decorations add to the beauty of the purse. The price was an added bonus. Love it!

I really like this purse. It's the perfect size. The only issue is that mine didn't come with the owl keychain and a few days after I bought it, the price went down by $20.

This is the second bag I have purchased of this style. The first one I bought on a whim because the pattern (the rainbow spirit desert ) was so crazy and I loved the tassels dangling on the side. Wasn't sure I was going to keep it or that maybe people would make fun of me - but it became my favorite bag and I got compliments and one of my neighbors even decided to buy the same bag. This time I got the "white peace dove" which I don't like as much as the rainbow spirit desert but I wanted something different. Strangely, the inside pockets (not the one with the zipper) do not have the elastic at the top like they did on my rainbow spirit desert and, therefore, are practically useless and in the way. I will most likely climb inside and carefully remove them. The price was a little lower so maybe that's the reason? Anyway, otherwise - great bag. Big enough without being TOO big - lots and lots of zipper pockets to sort your stuff in. I like the outer fabric which can be easily cleaned with damp cloth and is waterproof - plus the patters are fun! Would like to see more choices - the crazier the better! I don't keep all the dangly stuff on because it adds to the weight..but I definitely keep the tassels! Oh, one other fault is that I have to put a safety pin right below the adjustment ring to keep the length of the strap where I want it. Otherwise, it just slowly slides down to the longest position. Don't know why that is. Pretty major design flaw but easily fixed with safety pin so no big deal.

LOVE this crossbody! Roomy and adorably cute. Cleans up in a flash. Practical. Suits my needs.

I love this handbag. It rains a lot in Florida this time of the year and this handbag has no problem with that--just wipe it off and it's as good as new. I love the pattern and the handbag holds a lot of things, as well. I like this style of Sakroots so much that I have the same handbag in 3 other patterns!

Great pattern on the purse. Very colorful I can wear it with a lot because of the neutral background. It is nice and roomy with easy organization lots of pockets. It's lightweight with lots of fun details.

Zappos is a winner again! I wanted a bag that would look stylish and be durable. I found both! The rapid shipping for free was the icing on the cake! This bag was a great bargain, similar ones, being sold at the mall, were priced much higher. Thank you Zappos, for being a company I can count on for excellent products and perfect service!

I have been looking for just the right size cross body purse and have finally found it. Not too big (as I tend to completely fill up a bag) and not too small! Another deciding factor was the "wipe clean" surface.

I love this bag. It has a ton of pockets and it's so colorful! Easy to clean by just wiping with a wet cloth. Highly recommend!

Recently I made the measured decision to pare down on the amount of "just in case" stuff I was toting around daily - my purse seemed to have grown to school bag size to accommodate everything I was stuffing into it! I began way too small, with a wallet-phone case, and realized I needed to have a bit more with me than this allowed. I tried what I thought of as the next size up, the Sakroots Basic Crossbody - and I appreciate this bag so very much! It is the right size, in that it holds the basics of what I want with me; it has open and zippered pockets to help organize those things, and it sits so easily on my shoulder. I plan to add to my new sized purse wardrobe with another Sakroots in the near future.

Great price point, fun bag hold a fair amount of stuff. Only draw back is the light color lining,but that just personal preference.

Love Sakroots purses and this one no exception! It has a ton of room without looking like a giant tote - so many separate pockets inside and out, everything has its own place, it's an organizer's dream. Even when you fill the interior space it remains easy to take things in and out of the exterior pockets. The coated canvas is great because it's extremely stain-resistant. I ordered the Clay Enchanted Forest and Indigo Spirit Desert and both are beautiful. My only quibble is that the included charms, which are lovely, are made of metal and can be a bit noisy as you walk. But they can be easily removed if you like; so far the sound hasn't been annoying enough for me to do so.

I knew what to expect as I have another one in a different design. I love it and found the price to be lesser than the stores.

I have several Sak handbags. They are the perfect size and hold the items I want to carry inside. Love these handbags.
