First winter hike 15 km and dry! They were also perfect for snowshoeing the next day.

I bought these boots exclusively for winter hiking and snowshoeing and they do not disappoint! Very warm and comfortable, and they work nicely with my snowshoes. The weather has been very cold this year, in the high - 30's without the windchill, and I haven't had any issues. Great purchase!

I wear these about 5 hours a day in temps below freezing and never do my feet get cold. I'm in snow and on ice and the traction is fantastic. I'm only 5 foot 2 inches and less than 100 lbs and sometimes do not even break the crusty snow but still maintain great traction. they are worth every penny. One question I do have, and couldn't find the answer on line,is how to maintain their waterproofness? It is amazing but because I'm wearing them so much and they get quite wet I'm wondering if I am going to wear through the waterproofing.

I am an avid hiker and have worn these boots to run, hike and snowshoe in. I have put many miles and some hard trails into these boots. I use to hate being out in the winter and was constantly complaining about cold toes, not anymore!!! When I first bought the boots, I was cringing at the price tag, but now I think they are worth every penny. These boots are toasty warm and so comfortable that I went out and bought another pair! I strongly recommend them and have told all my hiking friends about them! Now if I could only find an 3 season boot that I love as much as these winter ones. (Salomon has not been able to produce one I like yet).

I've worn these for work for two winters now. I work in the Arctic and these are the best I've worn (and I've gone through a lot of other brands). I usually wear these between temp -25 and -50 and they are perfect. I hike, snowshoe and fat bike in them also.

These are the best winter boots I have ever had. We get a lot of snow where I live and a good winter boot is a must have.These boots are perfect fit for me, they are very warm. Unfortunately they just fall apart after many years and I am in desperate need of another pair. But I can't find them anywhere in my size and I just refuse to buy different boots:-)

I've had the Toundra pros for close to 20 years and they are THE only boots to keep my toes warm. I've had other brands but none compare to these ones. I use them snowshoeing, and hiking in the mountains all the time. Or, for when I'm working an event and I know I'll be standing around a lot with little movement. There's very little cold that comes up from the sole of the foot. Toes are not squished together and amazing support in the heel cup. I'm a heavy pronator and the heel cup nor the sole have broken down. The only negative I can see with the new ones are the colour. Black is boring. Really boring. My pant leg and/or gaiters will cover up any colour accent on.

Majorly warm without the bulk and weight! The best boot I've ever had, they kept my feet warm and dry. This boot has the right amount of flexibility and stiffness. Hiking in these was a breeze. They are so comfortable and the toe box is perfect for a natural foot shape. My toes were not squeezed together.

I bought these boots a few years ago & absolutely love them! They're incredibly warm, I wear them for shoveling my driveway, walking my pups & hiking & my feet are always toasty; I can't praise them enough.

Wife says its excellent boot for hiking in hardback, soft, and snow shoeing! Very comfortable as well. Major upgrade from her old Sorels.

I?ve been looking for a pair of shoes to use when snowshoeing in different terrains around Troms? where I live. The shoe needs to go above the ankles and be stiff and warm, and the Toundra meets all those criterias. I?ve used the shoes for about a month now, and I?m really happy with how it works for me.

My only problem with this boot is my ability to hit the first lace hook..I strained my back and when I go to hook the lace, the first one is the hardest. They're very warm and comfortable and I feel safe walking in them. I've worn them on several long hikes now..and they have met my needs.
