Awesome all terrain traction, extremely comfortable on longer runs, very well made.

I love these as my trainers in the early mornings or when I am on loose terrain, (mud, gravel, snow). They are stylish, yet they aren't just pretty. They perform just as good as they look. I've worn them backpacking, and I wished I would have bought a wide, and a half size bigger as by after 25 miles, both my pinky toes were super crammed. These do run narrow, so buy accordingly. & if you plan on doing over 25 miles in a setting, buy a 1/2 size up! Other than that, which was my fault, I love love these!!

Great shoes. This is my third pair of salomans, first pair of this style. They are awesome.

These shoes are my everyday shoes, I've had at least 10 pair over the years. I've turned several people on to them and they love them as well. BEST shoes ever!

I was able to try these out for the first time during a trail race. I had zero hot spot or blisters. The grip and fit are just amazing.

The Gore Tex membrane and the Premium Wet Traction Contagrip outsole are perfect for running in the snow and extreme cold of northern New York winters. My feet remain dry and warm throughout. Recommend wearing ankle gaiters when running in deeper snow. These Speedcross 4 GTX are a must for anyone who embraces the winter regardless of precipitation and temperature!

The gortex is perfect and you won't find better grip than the contagrip and the ortholite insoles are super comfy!

These shoes are just amazing! Comfortable and durable. They run fast and they support.

I love these shoes! Great quality and waterproof! My son also wears them for shooting competitions and has had several pairs (due to foot growth) and they all have heals up well!

I have been wearing these for the last 5 months through the winter season. So far they have managed to keep my feet dry whilst running my woodland circuits and trails. I would definitely buy another pair once these have gone but might possibly be tempted to go up a half size.

Use them in mild off road terrain. No problem with rain, mud, chilly weather. I dare to say that this goretex implementation is more efficient than the one in Salomon's Hiking shoe. 200 miles in , just like brand new, no cracks, no broken seams, the do not miss a beat. I wear them in the winter and with just a pair of simple low socks and my feet are warm enough even in ~0 deg. centigrade. So, I would say, more efficient in staying dry and warm and slightly less in breathability. A lot of complains about size, yes, they run narrow. I tried them and I bought half a size up. I own 6 different Salomon shoes, 46 2/3 is my size, I got them in 47 1/3 and they feel just fine.

I have owned many versions of this shoe which I use primarily for hiking and snowshoe trips, by far this is the best yet. Wraps your foot for comfort and stability.
