Amazing traction in sloppy conditions. Very durable upper. The only downside is the inside toe is angled in too much and pressed on both my big toes enough to cause extreme big toe joint pain. These are great for under ten mile fast runs in super sloppy conditions. Need more toe space for longer runs.

Ik gebruik deze schoen niet zozeer voor trail running, maar voor een veldsport. Waar ik met name over te spreken ben is dat ondanks los nat gras wat normaal gesproken tussen je noppen/profiel gaat zitten, deze schoenen goed grip houden. slijtvastheid kan ik nog niet beoordelen.

Bought these about 2.5 months ago. Solomon are a new brand for me and have not had shoes with quicklace system before. Can't say I'm impressed. They work themselves loose at around 7k, I have to stop to tighten them up Agustin only to have them work loose again by 19k. Not sure if I haven't a defective pair or if this is a common problem. It's a shame as the shoes themselves are great, very comfy but I have no confidence in the laces for the upcoming XC season so will likely revert to another shoe or cut out the quicklace and put traditional ones in!

Bought these shoes for my wife to replace her Fellraisers which were retired after over 1000k. These new speedtrak have lowered sides where the toe box joins the shoes and this weakens the junction. At about 100k with the grips still looking mint the fabric right across the top has failed on both shoes. See photos. Really disappointing as she said they fitted well, and the grip better than the fellraisers. This is a real shame as we had expected better quality from Salomon. This new update to the fellraiser needs to be retracted and is need of a rapid update on the junction design and the quality of the material over the top of the forefoot. We have returned the shoes for a refund.
