love the coat. like the ease of two pieces

I asked my husband and children for money instead of birthday gifts this year, so I could buy myself a North face jacket. I live in Seattle, WA and it rains a lot. I love it and have had lots of compliments.

Best gift ever! I can now be stylish and comfy in something that crosses all weather conditions and fits my athletic nature. Perfect also for down days. You can never go wrong with North Face--truly made for the weather. Worth every penny.

i normally hate anything w yellow bcuz of my skin tone n hair color, this shade is perfect. the coat is lightweight and very warm at the same time-perfect for my first NF coat

I've never had an issue with being warm and dry with this jacket. I do miss the colors they offered 2 years ago and wish they did keep offering the same colors in addition to new ones. But in terms of the jacket performance, fit, and feel, it's second to none.

Love this jacket!! Perfect for layering, the fleece is super soft and surprisingly warmer than all of my hoodies! I purchased the white and black one and it arrived just as described and I fell in love all over again when I put it on! Also I have long arms and the sleeve just fit long enough to be comfortable! So beautiful and warm! I get compliments every time I wear it! This is my second North Face jacket and I am never going back to anything else!

I needed a new winter jacket and when I saw this one in all black, I was instantly in love. The jacket is light and comfortable and super warm! I went outside in 21 degree weather in just a thin tank top in this jacket and it was still warm. I'm going skiing soon and I think this jacket will be perfect for the weather conditions.

My wife opened it on xmas morning and LOVED IT. Very warm, versatile (liner comes out so can be worn with liner, without liner, and liner can be worn seperately as a fleece. Lots of pockets and compartments for odds n ends. Beautiful colors and not bulky. Great design, N Face!

This coat is everything I imagined and then some. It's perfect, and look forward to using it on our Alaska adventure. I would recommend purchasing one size larger than you normally do. It's a great buy!!

My daughter is petite and I was shocked that there were xs sizes in this jacket (and even available!). I looked elsewhere and the stores didn't stock that size or they weren't available in the color she wanted. I ordered online during cyber week and the jacket came within a week! Very pleased with everything and my daughter will be pleased as well!

This is my second north face jacket and my first one is about 18 years old. This jacket is everything I wanted in a winter coat...3 coats in one. The color is perfect for me, kind of an army green. Very unique and different than any other colors I found in the stores. Can't say enough great things about it!

This coat is great! Keeps me warm in the snow... The pockets are lined with soft material which are good when you forget your gloves. Everything about this item is wonderful and the best alternative to a puffy coat.

I'm very happy with this purchase. This is the first time time I've purchased anything from The North Face. The reviews I had read and the website itself were very helpful. I am not a fan of cold weather, but I spend a lot of time outdoors. I wanted a coat that would not just keep me warm, but wouldn't weigh me down with a lot of bulk. The fit is good (I ordered the XL), but probably should have ordered the 1X to give me a bit more room. The jacket is just a little snug in the shoulder area and I would not be able to wear a sweatshirt or heavy sweater with this jacket although it does keep me warm enough that I would not need a heavy sweater. Other reviews of the silken fleece liner mentioned that the material sheds onto everything. I have noticed that it does shed, not onto my clothes, but onto the inside of the shell. So, until I separate the two pieces, I really won't have to worry about the shedding. Again, overall I am happy with my purchase.
