I bought these shoes last minute for our ski trip and I love them. We also bought waterproof shoes for myself and for my wife, the shoes kept us insulated from the elements. I don't know why people are complaining about too tight at the ankles in the other reviews, the shoes have a string at the top and a Velcro, if you loosen them both the feet should slip into the shoes.

I'm very happy with Columbia they really stand by there word ! I'm from Chicago so we get tough cold weather and my son's feet stood nice and warm ! We all know we can't keep kids out of snow. Thanks again for testing out your products! Kids happy mommy happy :)

Warm and water proof, to musts for a six year old.

These boots run a full size, if not 2 sizes, too small. Definitely size up!

Great boots and quality, but it's true that they are too narrow on the ankle and my daughter has a hard time putting them on.

These boots are great snow boot, but way too big. They are labeled size child-7 however, I can put my size 8.5-women foot into them with extra room. We kept them because of the clearance price and the fact that it was dumping snow the day they arrived.

I got 2 more pairs of these boots for my other 2 kids in big kids sizes. They were great: comfy, keep their feet warm and dry while playing hours in the snow and walk enough to say they never complain of being heavy or bother them. BUT, we had to return the toddler ones because he couldn't pass the foot where the top meets the shoe, somehow it's super narrow and a while some reviews mentioned the same issue, my kid have a narrow feet so I ordered anyway... I should've known better.

Boots have been minimally used, and likely liner craftsmanship was like this prior to being worn. Unfortunately, the liner does not fall under warranty!! Both boots we purchased had this poor quality of sewing, recommend you pull liners out and check!

Good pair of boots if your kid has super narrow feet. The inner cushioning is really tight and my kid tried on and took off instantly. Will have to return them, unfortunately.

Very small for the size it says, I spent on other shoes because my order could not be canceled.

These boots are exceptional in quality, but they are nearly impossible to get on. My daughter is four and we live in Vermont. We bought them because her school has an outdoor education program and they need warm, waterproof boots. The big however, is that children are expected to dress themselves. In order to get these boots on her foot, it took two adults. The boots fit, but the ankle passageway is too tight and narrow for even a small foot.

I had the older model (last year) snow boots for my son. I was so excited to buy these again for him and for my second son. I ordered a size up for both and they didn't fit at all. They are very tight, difficult to get on and then my kids cried from how tight they are after wearing them for a few seconds (they had otherwise been excited to try them on!). I'm so annoyed that I now lost the sale price and have to return two pairs of boots. Based on other reviews, I am not even gonna bother ordering a second size up. Will look for the older model or for another company. Disappointed... they definitely messed up on this style.

Disappointing because I have these for my son (big kid size) and my daughter had them last year. This year's style is so tight in the ankle my daughter can't get her foot in, even when I ordered up two sizes. Hope they fix the design but I had to return these twice.
