A solid shoe from ASICS. Unfortunately, they're either too narrow or a half-size too small. I'll return for a half-size up and see whether the fit is better.

I can't even count how many pairs of Asics this is for me now... I have been happy with their consistent fit and comfort and these shoes are just my latest version. The big surprise for me with this pair is how light they are--but that is certainly a good thing! I tend to run 3-5 miles regularly and several times a year I do ten-milers or half marathons. Consistent runner, but not avid.

I bought these for my husband because literally the only tennis shoe he will wear is the Asic Gel Cumulus due to his foot over pronates. He loved the style & comfort of these shoes.

I bought these for my husband who was professionally fitted for 'running shoes' several years ago. They are the 'newest' style, but still fit the same as the others. They do run small.

Had to reorder to the 4ee instead of the ee. I have had 3 previous models of this shoe and the ee has always fit perfectly. This shoe seems smaller with both length and width, however just as comfortable as previous models. We will see how they hold up as the last model/pair only gave me 6 months of use when I can usually get 9 months out of a pair. It also really stinks that the wide shoes are only available in one color however I'm just happy they are offered in that size.

Not very true to size. Even though wide fit they are very tight.

I've been buying this shoe for over 15 years and this is without a doubt the worst version I have ever owned. I always like the roominess of the Cumulus. The toe box was consistently wider than most running shoes. This pair however was considerably narrower. Also the heel feels tighter, so much so that I developed blisters on the outside of my ankles for the first time I can remember. I'm not sure why they made such dramatic changes to the measurement of this shoe but it was certainly bad for loyal customers.

I bought these for my husband, who usually wears a size 10.5 extra wide. I bought an 11, 4e and he had a tough time getting used to these shoes. He keeps saying, "These can't be wide shoes." He's wearing them because he doesn't want to send them back, but he wishes they were actually wider than advertised.

I've been running in the Cumulus for many years, and I've had several different model numbers. However, I highly dislike this model due to the longitudinal break in the rubber on the sole that runs from heel to toe. I typically land with a flat foot or more toward my toes. My fourth toe goes numb after about 1.5 miles, and the white line in on the sole is brown in the forefoot area (from contact with the ground). My forefoot feels pinched. I'll be looking for a new model and/or manufacturer.

I've had many Asics' GT-2000, Cumulus and more of the Nimbus. I wanted to rotate the nimbus and cumulus. But, this fits way too small. I tried running in it to break it in but that did not work. too narrow and small.

I ordered one pair and it fit perfectly but I didn't like the color. I returned the pair and ordered the same size in a different color. I looked forward to getting that pair. I was disappointed to find that the new pair fit differently. I found it to be too short and narrow. I will be returning it and not ordering another Asics.

The box the shoes come in say Doctor approved. Maybe the doctors that have tested or worn these asics had narrow feet and good arches. The toe box is narrow (hello blisters) and I didn't find these as responsive during runs as my brooks ghosts or my Hoka one one's. These will be retired from my running sneaker line up.

Asics has changed their sizes one the last few years. My current 11 D no longer fits the new model and neither does the 11 1/5.
Shoe is short and narrow especially in the toe box.

Looks like I'm done with Asics. I bought this shoe in my usual size. I have been wearing Asics shoes for fifteen years.
Asics is now making their shoes with a shallow (not deep) toe box, and I cannot wear a show that presses down on the end of my big toe. It hurt just to stand up in these things and walk around the room.
I refuse to buy a larger size just for this, nor do I care to trip over my feet in a larger shoe size. I had to return these and will look into other brands.
ASICS, please bring back your deeper toe box. Surely the materials cost of the shallower one is hurting your profit margin in lost sales!

This shoe looks great, but the toe box felt way too tight. There was zero wiggle room and felt like a compression sock. The size was off by 1/2 to a full size.

Asics has fallen into some bad habits. I purchased a pair of Asics Gel Cumulus 18 to replace my Gel Cumulus 17. The newer model seemed smaller and I inquired from Asics if that was the case. They acknowledged that the 18 model toe box was smaller and to order a half size larger. Nonsense, a half size larger is to long. Obviously the newer model Gel Cumulus was not properly engineered as there is no logical reason to make the toe box smaller. These are expensive shoes and Asics should be able to manufacture its running shoes in conformance with its advertised shoe size. I will not purchase Asics running shoes again.
