Customer Reviews Stuart Weitzman Nearlynude Ankle Strap City Sandal

Ordered the “Naked Nappa Combo” color thinking that the color would suit my skin tone better than the Bambina Nappa. I have been eyeing this shoe for about 6 months now and decided to the take the plunge and get it for a gala that I would be attending on a Wednesday. Because of the excellent shipping from Zappos, I got the shoe on Monday, but the color was all WRONG!! Now, I know why they call it “Naked Nappa Combo” because the shoe was a combination of different shades of nude!!!! The strap on the toes was a different color from the the strap on the ankle, which was also different from the heel, which was also different from the base of the shoe!!! WHY?!! Why would SW make a shoe like that??? By the time I got home, it was too late to get another shoe shipped out. The customer service dept, was however, very helpful in assisting me to locate the shoe in my size. I decided to find the Bambina Nappa. I ended up purchasing the shoes at the SW flagship store for $400!! I normally wear a size 5, but ended up buying a size 4. It ran a WHOLE shoe size bigger for me. The actual shoe is gorgeous. The shoe was more comfortable than other heels but at hour 4, my feet started to hurt. All in all, love the shoe and I think it’s a classy style that I can wear for a long time!

I would have loved to keep this shoe, but it’s too narrow. I think the problem with most reviews is that you never know what the reviewer’s feet look like. I have size 5 feet that are wide, not because I have puffy feet due to being overweight (in fact my BMI is at the lower limit of normal) but because my feet are just wide naturally. Size 6-1/2 would be perfect for me in width, but that would be huge in terms of length, so I usually compromise and get a size 5-1/2 or 6. In this case, I got a 5-1/2. It’s just way too narrow. It’s long enough that it would look funny if I went up to a size 6 (and would still be too narrow). Also, the strap is placed towards the toes as opposed to being at the level of the metatarsophalangeal joints (not sure of the lay term- foot knuckles?) so what happens is that my toes get smushed together and it ends up looking like I have a bunion. Very disappointed :(

Fit was fine, but I didn’t like the color and the glitter rubbed off on everything. They changed color, literally and not the look I was going for.

I really wanted to LOVE these because of the style and the colors they come in, but they really did not cup my foot at all...they felt very awkward. There is zero arch contact...I think that is the issue. I ended up ordering the same color in The RealDeal and they are great. Maybe I just do better with chunkier shoes.

Cute. Semi comfortable. The blue is closer to a royal blue. Clashed with the navy dress I wanted to wear with them. Not sure I like the suede. Might send back.

I love this shoe, and was thrilled that it came in wide width. But unfortunately it's not a true wide—I had to send them back.

uncomfortable

Not up to quality with other stuart weitzman shoes -- felt very still and uncomfortable. Also, I received the item with the soles clearly used.

THESE SHOES ARE GORGEOUS. However, the toe band squeezes my toes red/purple. Perhaps I should’ve sized up, but by the time I actually got around to wearing them to an event and not just around the house the return deadline had passed. I paid the full price for these too and now they’re unwearable. Truly regret not ordering a half size up or perhaps in a wider width.

I have to be honest about this shoe. I was super excited to het a Stuart Weitzman shoe with a chunky heel that was not too high and that was so pretty. It was just not comfortable, had to return and choose a different shoe.

This was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Stable, but cute sandal that would provide enough support and comfort that hopefully, I'd be able to wear them for hours. Unfortunately, I didn't order them small enough. Despite reading the reviews - I thought, "nah... it can't be that they mean to go a full size smaller than what you'd normally wear..." Yep. I am usually an 8.5. In this sandal, I needed the 7.5. Because the event was the next day, I didn't have time to return and get new ones. VERY frustrating the Weitzman's shoes are not consistent with standard sizing - or even with their own sizing!! I did go to Nordstrom (sorry, Zappos - I was desperate) and bought the 7.5. I wore them for hours and my feet were sooooper unhappy at the end of the event. That's why the 3 for comfort. I have two other pairs of Weitzman 4"-5" wedge sandals - both of those are more comfortable (they get 5 stars for comfort) than these. And the Weitzman stiletto sandals I have get a 1 star for comfort (gorgeous, but ouch!). So, clearly... these are right in the middle.

The gold noir color is a very yellow gold. The website's picture of the gold noir is much more silvery/champagne compared to the reality. Will be returning.

I really wanted to love this shoe. It was comfortable, but the inside of my foot hangs over the edge, by a lot! I was surprised how narrow the middle of the shoe is (I ordered the wide with and the toe area is roomy).

Beautiful shoe but VERY narrow. Sadly I had to return it.
