The sole is not wide enough for me — an E!

I have several pairs in different colors, but the elastic on the right foot on this pair is much tighter than the left, causing pain.

So light weight, very supportive, but sadly too narrow for my feet due to bunions.

I really wanted to love this shoe. It's attractive and the bronze is a lovely neutral color. But like other reviewers mentioned, the straps are very tight around the foot. I thought this might actually be a benefit for me because my foot is a little narrow and straps often gap, but this shoe was too tight for me, especially around the toe area. I normally wear a size 8 but ordered both 8 and 8 1/2. The 8 was too tight and the 8 1/2 was too long.

I just love the shoe and hate having to return it. The problem is that although it fits well, the material has some elasticity. As I wore the shoe it became tighter and tighter, and eventually became unbearable.

love them. great for the summer without being too strappy. wore them all day without problems right out of the box. comfortable and true to size

I love the styles and color selection of Bernie Mev shoes. Unfortunately I wear a 5 in Bernie Mev, given they stretch out over time and then they come off my feet. I have tried innner soles but the shoes still stretch. Now they have this newer shoe sizing where by you order "2 sizes in 1". I have only found 1 in size 35 but they weren't the style for me. Disappointed.

Pretty good for a platform wedge; still have that feel that my foot does not bend in the middle but at least they are uber light. Comfortable shoe.

I wear a size 10 and have wider feet and the 40 was just a tad too short. I took a chance since the 41's in black were out of stock and really wish that had worked out. They weigh nothing and are very comfortable right out of the box. And they looked better than anticipated on. Tried them on at the end of day after having fast food and popcorn - when my feet were swollen - to simulate actual business travel and convention conditions and the shortness of the size was the only issue. I'm regrettably going to have to explore non-Zappos procurement options because these are my must-have convention season shoes. The Bernie Mev. Halle and Comfi both fit tighter and were less stylish looking. I don't know what other brands to recommend because these are in a different league than all my other "comfort" shoes.

I absolutely loved the look of these shoes. My normal size is 8 1/2 wide, but had to order the 9 medium because they didn't come in a wider width. I was disappointed they didn't have more toe room, too. My feet felt so cramped. I suggest Bernie Mev should make wider widths because I really like the look of the shoes.

These are such cute shoes! I got the bronze color and they look great with everything and I love the extra height. BUT, they are very tight. I wear 8 1/2 and ordered the 39, but they were way to tight. Now I have the 40 and am trying to wear them, but they really hurt my toes. I put moleskin on two toes and that helped, but can't wear them for too long. Some people mentioned that they stretch - if they would stretch, I would be so happy. I might try the 41, but that is equivalent to size 11 and I think they would be too big. If anyone has any advice on how to stretch these, I would welcome it because they are such pretty shoes.

If you have a narrow foot, these are the shoes for you. They were really tight and the outside of my foot hung over the side of the shoe.

Third pair of bernie mevs. Love my others and these felt ok when I first put them on but after five minutes began to constrict my feet terribly. Maybe they will stretch, I thought, but after an hour I knew they wouldn't work. Sadly going back.

I loved my original pair of bernie mev. Brighten shoes so much my toes eventually made deep imprints in the cushioning. So I ordered another pair, exactly the same size. Guess what? They were too small! I'm willing to consider maybe my feet were swollen or they've grown a tiny bit, but I kept wearing them around the house and they continued to be too small. I wonder if there was some problem in the manufacturing? In any case, I'm heartbroken. They were some of my favorite shoes ever. :-(

I do not know if the pair I received were a complete anomaly, but the stitching that secures the insole to the footbed (at the instep) was so instantly irritating that they are going back. I am hugely disappointed as Bernie Mevs are my "go to" shoes for comfort. It seems that I have returned more of them than I have kept recently. What gives, Bernie Mev?
