I purchased the canvas and suede versions of these shoes. They look great right out of the box. However, the suede shoes looked horrible very quickly just from dust and dirt that you encounter while being outside. Forget trying to clean that material. The canvas versions did not collect dust and dirt like the suede ones do so keeping them looking nice was much easier. The cushion is nice on the soles but not designed for lots of miles walked at a time. The one complaint that I have is that they feel a half size too small. I ALWAYS order size 10 shoes with no problem. These shoes are tight and I have to loosen the laces. I should have exchanged them but I thought they would loosen up. No. Make sure they fit right out of the box because there isn't a lot of breaking in as far as the fit goes. Not bad shoes if you get the canvas and the right fit.

The toe box creases weirdly when you walk, doesn't look nice and digs into your foot.

The SB Check is a very comfortable shoe although the canvas doesn't seem to breathe all that well. The canvas is definitely more than just a single layer like some Vans or Converse shoes are for example. The inner is padded or layered slightly which give the impression that they will be durable (this is a good thing in my opinion). Overall though in terms of fit and feel I am happy, they look great too. Note: I am normally a size 9.5 with other brands but a 9.0 in the SB check fit me perfectly. Unfortunately for me, the rubber on the inside of the shoe at the bend point near the ball of my foot started to separate from the canvas. This was after only a week or so of easy wear. The other foot looks to be starting to separate as well... I contacted Zappos who are sending me a new pair and I am shipping the old pair back, no expense to me. I hope the next pair will hold up better. Great customer service from Zappos though.

Great looking pair of shoes - the fit and size are as described and they are comfortable. The soles have unfortunately started to split after a few weeks of light wear (not everyday) and the lighter gray color stains super easily.

I wanted to love these so badly. I saw the men's 6 was equal to a women's 7.5 (which Zappo's says they're sold out of), so I went ahead and bought these "men's" shoes for myself (a lady). They have moderately cushioned insoles for flats, but these KILLED the top of my feet. The fabric is stuffed too much so the shoe upper is extremely stiff. With each step, the stitched line in front of the shoe dug deep into the tops of my feet. I wasn't planning to wear these for long walks, but the risk of blisters or having my circulation cut off was too high. Returning them.

Arrived with small scuff on toe, but nothing terrible. After wearing around the house for a few minutes the canvas started to dig into the top of my foot which made it extremely uncomfortable. Definitely going to have to return them.

The style of these shoes are great, unfortunately they are very uncomfortable. Hurt to my feet every time I walk.

The canvas version of the Nike SB is not comfortable and feels cheaply made. Wish it was more clear which was Suede vs. Canvas. You can feel a tough bend at the toe and it jams your toes on the bend of the shoe when you walk.

These were probably the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve purchased. They are way too snug in the middle of the foot. I actually purchased a half size bigger and there was plenty of room in the toe box. I actually have to wear these really loose to make them wearable. They are about as comfortable as a pair of low-top chucks. I’m not sure if a whole size bigger would solve the issue.

I found these shoes to be great, but only for a short time. They were comfortable and were my preferred shoes. Unfortunately after about 4 months of regular usage, they sole near the heels broke through. Typically it takes at least 1.5 years for me to break through the soles of shoes. If you are looking to use these from time to time, then they might be worth it, but if you were to use them everyday, I would strongly suggest not purchasing them. Hope this helps!

These shoes look great and feel great at first. But they started to fall apart after 2 months of normal every day walking. No extreme activities or anything. The back part of the shoe where your upper heal goes wore down a and a plastic support was rubbing against my feet giving me terrible blisters to the point wheee I started to bleed. I had to put duck tape on the inside so my feet wouldn't rub against and give me pain. I thought I could rely on Nike to make a good product but I thought wrong. The last time I buy anything Nike. I would add photos if I could.

This review is for Zappos. My previous pair of this shoe was great. My newest pair arrived definitely worn, not new, with the laces CHOKED. Scuff on right toe.

I had to send these back--they are beautiful shoes, very nice-looking, but every time I took a step the shoe folded in half on the top and dug into my foot just above my toes--couldn't walk more than a step or too before the pain became unbearable. Very disappointing
