The three finger design felt cumbersome and somewhat restricting when clenching a fist. I was worried they may tire my hands when holding ski poles. I have exchanged for the mitten version- as the leather is very soft and pliable. FYI I am female- may be more suited to fit the male hand.

These are the best ski gloves I have ever owned (been skiing 20+ years). They are extremely warm, and the leather is both soft & durable. The wrist straps are clutch - my first gloves with these, and they are extremely convenient.

These gloves are extremely comfortable and warm. The Hestra sizing scheme is spot on. I wear XL gloves/mitts and purchased size 11. They might be a tad large, but only a tad. Much better than a tad too small. The wrist band is very convenient. I use these for snowmobiling, as well, and have no warmth issues. Removable liners is huge. These are easy to remove after skiing and placed on a dryer. Owners should frequently treat the leather, however. I do this almost after every use. I dropped one star on "Overall," due to price. $140 is pretty stiff for a pair of gloves. A little rich for my blood, but I am very pleased with style and performance.
