This backpack was a perfect fit for me, not to large or bulky. It is very comfortable to carry even fully packed but still maintains a more professional appearance than other backpacks. I had no issue with it being my personal item while traveling.

Perfect backpack for work - the material looks professional and the backpack holds its shape. Because of its stiffness, however, the U-shaped zipper can be a bit hard to close with one hand and the bag may be a bit large looking to qualify as a "personal item" on flights. Nevertheless, the quality is really wonderful and you can't beat Briggs and Riley's warranty.
