Used to wear HH merinso/poly but I decided to try these and am glad I did. They fit perfect, no bulk and very comfy. I wear these under my Arc Sabre pants for snowboarding and I ride regardless of temperature, into the sub -40 celsius range, and my legs are never cold. I bought another two pairs and they are the only base layer I will use going forward.

I use this base layer when camping in cold weather in my sleeping bag. It keeps me warm with my own temperature.
I also use it under my Cassiar ski pants. It is a perfect base layer that I don't need any extra insulation.

I use these bottoms as part of my cold weather kit for work. They are great paired with gamma mx pants and I regularly use the pair in temperatures down to -30 celsius. I haven't experienced the "bagging" out issues that other people have but I don't follow the wash instructions at all. My only complaint is that I wish they were made with natural materials so that I could wear them in areas requiring fire retardant outerwear

I love these bottoms. Along with the Phase AR Zipneck Top, I wear these for high-output activities like nordic skiing, running, or strenuous hiking when it's between 0-25 degrees F. Warmer than that, I switch to Phase SL; if it's colder, I go Phase SV. Or if there's going to be a lot of standing around, I'll use the Rho layers instead.
Any air movement across these phase baselayers makes me feel cold! That's a good thing when I'm putting out a lot of heat, but if I'm going to stop to stand around for a while, I get chilled very quickly, even after throwing on several more layers.
These are very tight-fitting, but that's probably one of the reasons they're awesome at wicking moisture. My only complaint is that the bottom of the pant legs is so small I can hardly pull it over my ankle. I could hear the stitching break the very first time I pulled them on. Now I'm very careful getting them on and off over my feet.

These do exactly what's needed. Nobody get excited by buying base layer leggings, they are not a new set of axes! If you need some buy these they work perfectly!

I own several of the Phasic tops, and cannot praise them highly enough.
These bottoms fully live up to expectations.
Just like the shirts, they are supremely comfortable, have a great, tight fit for enhanced wicking, and move sweat away incredibly fast.
Great as an extra warm layer on very cold days, and I also use them in conjunction with waterproof overtrousers alone on warm, humid, very wet days. Removing the additional layer on warm days help keep you cool and dry.
Material is surpringly durable. Length is perfect for me. Just above the ankle, so they don't interfere too much with a hiking sock.
Yet another great product.

Comfiest base layer I've ever had in my gear list.
Very comfortable pant, wicks away sweat like nothing, and doesn't cause any itchiness on the skin, barely even feel them there. Perfect for all around or yearly resort skiing, never finding them too warm or too cold, just right.
Really nice pant to wear jogging in the winter as well.
Cheers! Enjoy em!

I bought an Phase SV last year for running in cooler weather and and as base layer for snow shoeing. I really liked the fit and kept we warm as expected!! After only one seasons usage and a few wash cycles (as per instructions) it feels like a different product! It now seems like a size bigger and "flopping" and wrinkling underneath shorts and snow shoe pants. This wasn't expected of a 75 dollar Arcteryx item! It now looks more like a cheap loosely fitting, flimsy running tight! Maybe that's why they no longer sell the SV model?

Wish I read the latest reviews here about it becoming baggy in a few washings. I just purchased a month ago, so it's not an issue for me yet, but I suspect it will be.
My issue is with the seams around the knees. The seams are quite sharp and scratchy. Something which may not be apparent when trying it on in the store, but which is very apparent when you're actually wearing it around and bending at the knee, e.g. sitting or standing up.
I understand the lighter fabric around the knee is supposed to help perspiration, but I've never had a problem with other base layers in this area, and it's totally outweighed by the discomfort.

I wear these under my shell pants for ski touring, under shorts for cold weather mountain biking, or just under my jeans walking the dog in the winter. They keep me dryer than anything I've used before in high output activity and they add a touch of warmth. The problem I have with these is getting the cuff over my heels, especially taking them off. They're so tight that I can hear the stitches ripping as I struggle to take them off. I'd also like to be able to pull the bottoms up past my calves so I can put on and take off long socks and pull the base layer out of my ski boots as I do with every other base layer, but these are so thin that they don't cause any discomfort, just inconvenient. The other drawback of the lack of stretch is the when I crouch or bend down they get pulled down in the back and I have to hike them back up all the time. These are a little chilly for resort skiing, but that's not what I bought them for. I think next time I'd have a look at the RHO LT even though I don't think they don't wick sweat nearly as well (my RHO AR don't) or the satoro
I'm 6'1", 185lbs with a 33"-34" waist. I'm wearing a medium as I normally do with arcteryx pants

Perfect fit initially! Used it for cold weather running. Was shocked that after one season it turned into a diaper (or so my wife calls it)! Not expected from Arcteryx!
