I purchased the Koda about a week before Christmas 2018 and have worn it eight times, so far. Based on my limited time with the jacket I have observed the following:
The Good - very warm for its weight (super freakin' light); wore it without any problems in the recent -25 degree temps that invaded southern Ontario in January 2019; wore it over a lightweight merino wool sweater; shell blocked wind very effectively and kept out snow and water. My caveat being: I was outside for no more than 15-20 mins at a time, multiple times per day during the coldest weather so I can't speak for its ability to handle very low temps for extended periods. The hood can be cinched down around your face, and I didn't find it too big (despite some other reviews).
Size-wise, I bought a small. I'm 5-10, 163 lbs and the small fits perfectly. Tried a medium and it was billowy in the torso and the arms were too long. Consider trying one size down from your typical size.
Not So Good - Koda loses its loft fast. I've worn the jacket for a grand total of 15 mins in the car and approximately 45 mins sitting on the train, and the back insulation in the Koda went from quite lofty to rather compressed. I would guess that the back of the jacket is no thicker than a sheet or two of corrugated cardboard now, but the shell material shows no signs of abrasion or wear. The loft hasn't come back though... Arms, shoulders, and the front of the Koda seem fine. Only time will tell whether the compressed loft in the back will significantly impact my ability to use the coat in cold weather. Lastly, I found the Koda difficult to adjust (the hood) on the fly. Would recommend setting it indoors, and leaving it alone.
I'm hoping to at least get two winters out of it - but who knows at this rate.
Given the above, I would suggest that the Koda is best recommended for people looking for a cold-weather, walking-around coat only. Sitting in a car or on a train repeatedly, or for extended periods, seems to squish the insulation down a significant amount - and it doesn't want to "loft" back up; therefore, I'm hesitant to recommend it if that is the intended use.

There are some good features on this coat, and it has its notable points like being wind proof, water resistant and warm. It is good for our wet and wild east coast winters. That being said I find it fits too snug so layering or sweaters are out of the question most days and I find the sizing is a bit odd compared to my other Arc'Teryx gear. Normally this isn't too big of an issue as I wear a dress shirt and tie to work and the coat is fine for that, but I really dislike the cuffs and the button clasp which is
I am 5' 10 and 215 lbs athletically built, and need the large to clear my chest and shoulders but the sleeves are too long and the cuffs don't have enough adjustability. I realize the cuffs are designed for gloves, but it would be better if it had an internal elastic cuff OR more adjustability with the buttons. In regards to the sizing, I tried a medium first and it is too small in the chest and shoulders (very tight in the chest), despite the fact that the model on the web site is 6'2 and wearing a Medium. I wear a large in the Atom (which is a perfect fit and an amazing jacket). If they could adjust the sizing a bit on this coat, and improve the cuffs and add one more interior pocket this would be perfect.
I have 3 other Arc'Teryx jackets, two Atom SV and a Beta. I still feel that for a daily use in non wet conditions, the Atom is the best coat on the market. This Koda is definitely better suited for professionals who want a less sporty but still very functional and warm jacket for all weather conditions.

I'm so used to using this gear for hiking/mountaineering that in the past year I started trying some of the around town jackets.
Needless to say, I've run into a lot of issues.
I received this the other day and it came with thread pulls on the back (the Infinitum itself), loose threads in about 5-6 locations, what appears to be tensioning issues, and an irregular cuff (which has happened to me 3 times in the past year. It happened once with a Radsten, once with a therme and now with this.
I was actually willing to look past the cuff which due to crooked lamination made the right sleeve roll in on itself. But upon further inspection I noticed the other issues. It also looked horrible and almost as if it was tattered in spots. I would've posted pictures but I already packed it up to be sent back.
Anyway I'm sending it back and I don't honestly want to take a chance with another one. I'll stick to the mountaineering gear from now on because I seem to have better luck with that as far as quality goes

I was looking for a jacket to wear in town, not to bushwhack, hammer down hills, nor set up camp. Great styling and durable outer. Liked the Infinium GorTex to stop the wind (in the winter I am not worried about moisture where I live). Maybe like others, this was like the three bears...medium too small and the large was too big. I have a slender build with long arms. Mediums are to fit a 34 sleeve and Large a 35. Shoulders, arms, and chest were fine in the medium but tight at the waist. A large was not only long but also voluminous in the body.
This jacket was written up as meant for layering. The problem was with the sizing. A medium is meant to fit up to a 40 jacket; a large jumps to 43. In fact the XL jumps to 46 and the XLL to 50. It would be better for me and possible others if the Large was designed to fit up to a 42, then start jumping larger jacket sizes. On me, the medium fit lengthwise like a jacket. The large like a parka. I was looking for a jacket.
I really liked the fact that the amount of insulation in the arms was as much as in the body, my arms tend to get cold easily. If it was slightly larger at the waist, it would make it more comfortable, eliminating other reviewers complaints of the need for a double zipper. It would increase the appeal of the jacket to a greater range of body types.
Overall the aesthetic, warmth, construction, and quality were great... just a very constrained design making it only wearable by the under 30 crowd. That's too bad!
