NEW BALANCE STYLE # 990 IS THE ONLY SHOE I WEAR IN VARIOUS SHADES AND COLORS. THEY ARE COMFORTABLE, GOOD LOOKING AND BLEND WITH ALL MY COLORED PANTS. THEY ALSO FEEL GOOD WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE...THANK YOU NEW BALANCE.

Literally my favorite pair of shoes I've ever owned! Comfort is excellent, lots of compliments on the style. Mint color goes with everything. Usually a 10, got them in 10.5 but that's pretty standard for NB. Perfect summer pop. Also live in NYC and walk around 5 miles a day minimum and these look brand new! These will hold up! Going to get another color way soon.

This shoe is very comfortable. I am wearing these with off-the-shelf powerstep orthotics. With these shoes I can now return to walking for exercise, about 1 hour per day. Very pleased with the fit and support.

I've probably owned a dozen or more pairs of 990's over the 40 years, give or take, that I've worn New Balance. I love the consistency in fit and workmanship of the shoe. I'm not running any more, but still stay active (treadmill, etc.). I keep my eye out on line for a shoe, presumably whose color hasn't been a big seller, and that has gone on sale and have found some good bargains including this shoe.
