I have the 990 since the first model. He is great. First in gray and now color in gray and blue navy colors.

I have been wearing New Balance 990 series for about 30 years now. I have a very narrow foot, and New Balance is the only manufacturer who makes an athletic shoe in my size. They finally came out with a new color (other than gry) Too bad they made the tongues shorter...much more difficult to put on.

Shoe is well made, comes in different widths to accomadate everyone. Very comfortable n supportive

It is about time people with long narrow feet can buy running shoes in a color other than gray, black and white.

Love the shoes. Had 990s for many years. This one is even better. More comfortable and stable. Disappointed I I bought Grays before you introduced your Dark Blues.

I am very pleased with my new Athletic shoes by New Balance. I especially appreciate New Balance because they have the narrow width which I need.

I love my 990 money spent well with the new looks and support

It took me years to wear out my old 498s, and was told the 990s took their place. So far, they are the best shoe ever for me.

I have worn the visually similar NB 990 products for about 20 years and 5 different versions. My last pair, 992's, lasted for running and whatever else (casual, walking, etc.) for about 7 years and I finally wore them out. Although I like the conservative clean look of the 990v4, I considered trying a better running shoe for sublimation. However, after discussion with NB, just decided to repurchase the 990 as a good running shoe that would also fit that feature. There may be others better, but I still like the looks of the shoe enough that I skipped experimenting with others. The 990v4 is a winner is so many ways, didn't want to be without it.

I have had every version of the 990 since the late 1980's and this is a great improvement over the V3. From the longer tongue to the fit, it just feels better. I did get some of the better sole inserts to go with this pair and that is very nice as well. I will probably always be a fan of the 990.

Well built. Sturdy. Expensive. Hope they last. Will buy again if they do.

Casual wear with shorts and jeans, my other pairs I use when I'm doing my walking program.

The problem is that sizes are only a few and even when I use 13m this was a little tight. I would even try again but whoever read (if any) this did not care
