Overall this is a great shoe. Very comfortable. It does run a bit wide, which works for me.

I bought and returned this shoe because it is just unattractive. The white foam area is ugly and makes this look like an old man shoe. Comfort wise it seems fine but I agree with other reviews that it is sized on the larger side.

Great shoes but a full 2 sizes too big.

Very stylish and comfortable. The ECCO Jared Tie was definitely larger than I expected. I have had several ECCO shoes and typically the European size 42 fits me well even though the equivalent US size is 8.5 and I generally take a 9.5 size for all my other shoes. Aside from that its a great shoe. The leather seems high quality and this shoe looks great with both formal office wear and smart casual.

Great looking shoes. They appear brown in the picture, but they are closer to black in real life (very very dark grey/brown) the biggest issue is the size. i have many pairs of ecco shoes. i always buy a size down because they run big....these are huge. even two sizes down may be a bit large.

Size runs AT LEAST one size larger, probably 1.5 - 2. When in doubt, order the smaller one.

I have purchased 3-4 other models of Ecco shoes over the years. Size 10-10.5 has worked well for all the previous Ecco shoes I bought but not this model. I ordered my usual size and was surprised to find that it was to big to I exchanged for the size smaller and that works well for me in this model.

I ordered two pairs of Ecco shoes both size 44, and this shoe looked and fit much larger than the other style. Not sure why this feels like a giant shoe compared to the other one.

I ordered this item when it was on sale ($119 instead of $180). However the leather was off-color at the most visisble places. I expect better for ECCO and better for a shoe that cost $100+

Initially got the size (42)that was to correspond to my american size. This was a joke as the shoe was fully 2 inches longer than my foot. Being so long, I next tried the size 2 down (40)from recommended. Although this was close, it was too narrow. Went to the middle size(41), and while it was still too long, it was bearable. However, after wearing them around the house for awhile, I found they weren't very comfortable. I was looking for a shoe I can wear on a trip where I will be doing a lot of walking, and I felt these weren't going to be good for that. Shame, good looking shoe. Very disappointing. Don't think buying shoes online is the way to go.
