This is a great looking and performing shoe. I have stepped into puddles that cover the whole shoe and my feet have NEVER gotten wet. There is a great lacing system. I have had this shoe for 2 years now, and it was well worth the purchase. Plus, I get so many compliments, I am almost tempted to purchase another pair with some different colors and customizations! Great shoe.

So after trying 15 pairs of Golf shoes at my local House of Golf store, I ended up with the Contours. Why? Well many factors really, firstly I tried a few Adidas models and found them too narrow and and short at the ankle and too big in the toe. Secondly I tried some of the shoes on offer from Etonic and Niblick a more budget concious brands and found them really well made considering the price and in general a better shoe than the Adidas models. The came time to try some FootJoys and from there it then became a question of which model? Icons, by far the best looking shoe in the marketplace right now and for a fancy course that is clean and dry they would be perfect. Then came the athletic models which I also liked but were a bit to tennis shoe for me, then came the Contour, I nearly fell over with the amount of comfort and stability I found in these. I feel in love with the feel with them, so after my first round which was really wet with a lot of loose grass on the course I was stable and in control at all times. My only gripe with these shoes is the super thin laces and small lace holes. If I could change anything that would be it. Considering how great these shoes are that is almost picking bones here. So with that minor niggle these shoes are near perfect.

I have only played golf 5 times. A few thousand balls at the range, but only 5 rounds. Just starting out I considered "golf shoes" an optional accessory. I was having problems with my right big toe hurting after driving or playing. I always wore the same sneakers...seemed comfortable enough, and they fit well....what else is there, right??? BOY WAS I WRONG!! I purchased my first golf shoes ever , the FootJoy Contour Series, last week for a rediculously low price. They arrived yesterday morning. The packaging is nice. The box is of very heavy construction, and the easy opening lid is well thought out. Inside the box the shoes were well protected. By now, I will admit, I was getting pretty excited. Jerked out the stuffing, spread the laces, my foot slid right in...oooohhhh. Snugged up the laces and UH, OH... Maybe I should have gotten a wide...I ordered online based on my sneaker size. This brings me to the only problem I have with these shoes...For me, the laces are too short. I am able to snug them up and tie a nice tiny bow, kind of like what you might find on a child's doll, but that's about all. I stood up in them and, thankfully, I realized that I did actually have the right size after all. The fit is perfect. Snug, yet comfortable. Room for my toes even. Any wider and my foot would move around in the shoe. I left these shoes on for 6 straight hours while reading, typing and just walking about the house...never a HINT of discomfort. 100 balls at the range.18 holes of golf and I must say it honestly improved my game compared to my favorite sneakers. When it was all over my right big toe felt like I hadn't even played yet. Knowing what I know now, I would pay twice what I paid for these. Heck, I have spent 4 times the cost of these shoes on a single meal and left un-satisfied. Great shoe, great price, great comfort. Thank You Foot Joy.

"Dry Joys are the only shoes for me". That's what I used to say until I tried on the Contour Series w/ the BOA lacing system. My foot never felt more secure in any other shoe. Unless you come out with something better, this is now my main shoe!

Best golf shoes I have ever worn. Highly recommended.

I have purchased Contour Shoes since 1st introduced at least 10 yrs ago. - Most comfortable shoes like putting on your bedroom slippers. - Leather holds up very well with brown/white and blacktrim - Very durable and they do not leak! After 57 yrs of playing golf, the Contour shoes are the very best for the money usually less $99.00. Try'em and I know you will agree too!

These shoes may not look as advanced as the DryJoys or the SYNR-G's, but they do seem to perform like them!

Great Shoe, good fit, and waterproof. And they look good.

I bought this shoe as a winter back up for my FootJoy Icons. The comfort is excellent and a great value. Played 18 with out any problems right out of the box. I would definitely recommend the FootJoy Contour shoes to anyone .

I wish, and have asked a friend on the course if they make this shoe in a dress shoe for going out. That is how comfortable they are!!!! I really want to take the spikes off and wear them for everyday use!!! By far the most comfortable out-of-the-box shoe I have ever owned!! Highly suggest buying these for a better golf game and not having to worry about comfort on the course. One thing that I am dealing with currently, they are not dry in the toe and have asked the company to help me and they are doing so very promptly and nicely. Thanks!!

I have always used Footjoys, but the Contour model seems to be their best yet! Very comfortable[I walk 18] and a very "playable" shoe---great stability and extra torque are quite evident with this performer.

I have owned four pair of the contour series shoes over the past three years. Every pair has been comfortable right out of the box. This is very important when walking the course in a new pair of shoes and trusting them to keep your feet comfortable and provide great support. I will always be a FootJoy customer since I enjoy a comfortable fit and quality workmanship in their shoes and gloves.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and provide the performance I expected.

When I play I generally prefer to walk the course and carry my bag. After my first round in my new footjoys I was blown away. I couldnt believe how good my feet felt after walking 18 holes. I am a footjoy customer for life . Cannot praise the comfort enough

This is my third pair of the Reel Fit shoes and I have enjoyed the other two greatly. I thought at first they woud not last but after 3 years they work just like new. I bought my second pair the next year and just bought my third pair today! These are very good shoes and I would recommend them to any golfer that wants stability in the swing and comfort, they excell at both!!!!

Golf Professional wearing FJ's for 35 years, broke a toe last summer tried on a pair of Contour's and they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Great shoe great price and excellent new styling!

Looked for weeks and finally found the contour in stock and my size and at a great price (half off) plus I had a coupon for another 20% off. Have played maybe 20 rounds and impressed 100% with the shoes. Improved stability especially in wet grass or on side hill shots. Highly recommend to even beginners because these shoes wont hit the ball but will help you hit the ball in the long run.

Tested a few Footjoys before buying these. The clerk said that this was their most sold shoe at the moment. It felt so much better than anything, straight away in the store! Usually you have to wear the shoes for a while so that they soften up and find the contours of your foot, but not these! These felt extremely comfortable from the get-go. Definately you should go for the ones with the BOA lacing system! It doesn't sound like a big advantage not having to tie your laces, but it is! It's so easy to put on, and if you get a stone in your shoe on the course it's so fast to get the shoe off and on again. Plus that, it is also way easier to adjust the right tension of the laces. The shoes in black are not the best looking in this Ian Poulter world of pink and green, but for comfort and stability, you can't get anything better than these! Highly recommended, hail from Finland.

I live in louisiana were it is wet and rainny but then sunny and shinny the next . This has been the best all round shoe i have had so far. As always fj has done and excellent job. Im gettin me another pair in Black and White

Walked 18 in my new Contours right out of the box. Very comfortable, no break in required. Slipped once or twice during swings but nothing drastic. Love these.

I'm into my third pair of Contours; absolutely the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever owned. Recommended them to my friends and they're wearing them now. What can I say? FootJoy: Please don't fiddle with these; reinventing the wheel is SO passe!

My feet are as wide as they are long. The FJ Contour series fit like a glove. It's great that FJ offers an extra-wide shoe that is extra-wide. I love to walk when golfing and it can be challenging enough to play well if your feet hurt. Thanks Foot Joy.

My old shoes had worn out, and it was time to buy new ones. I tried many different makes and models. The Footjoy Contour felt like a pair of slippers when I tried them on the first time. I have wide feet and a slightly wider left foot than my right on and they both fit comfortably. I haven't played a round with them yet, but I will this week and will let you know how they are on the course. I expect they will meet and/or exceed my hopes.

Wow right out of the box comfort, I use to wear the nike rejuvanate s , I now mow my lawn in them :) I will stock pile these contours , Not only are the comfotable but look fantastic , clean lines excellent spikes way to go fj .
