These shoes are gorgeous, comfortable, and I received a ton of complements on them when I wore them. Unfortunately, I wore them for about five minutes before they were pretty much utterly ruined. The leather (?) on the heel is papyrus-thin, and even walking rather carefully and not even obviously scuffing the shoes on anything, it was gouged immediately. It is so soft and thin that it has absolutely no durability. It sets my teeth on edge to see massive chunks taken out of the leather by what couldn't have been anything more than normal wear. It's such a terrible shame. I like these fascinatingly weird shoes quite a lot, but I feel like I can't wear them anywhere outside, and now I obviously cannot return them. They shouldn't look so beaten up after one tentative outing. Three stars overall because they are so cute, but the durability shouldn't be so terrible for this price.

I bought the black sandal and the gray sandal about a couple of years ago. They are so unusual in style but comfortable as can be. Also the designs are fascinating and quite colorful. The heel is not too high but high enough to look really sexy in a pair of jeans/culottes/etc. Yes, I have received many compliments, especially when I wear them on my weekly visit to the hair salon. The extra heel taps (included) will come in handy as I will soon need to replace my heels. I scratched the heel in my gravel driveway and used a permanent marker and covered over the mark. Perfect camouflauge. I'm ordering the camel pair today. Oh yes, the velcro closing is very helpful when somedays I find it difficult to fasten the shoes.

Super cute, and comfortable too! After reading one of the reviews, I was worried about damaging the heel, but, after a few hours of shopping, they are fine.

These are the cutest most trendy shoes-ordered in the turquoise but I didn't care for the other color on the top. Fit a little wide but I have a narrow foot.

These are so comfortable and cute! I got them for my wedding and with that little platform in the front their isn't a worry of sore toes.

Fit is near perfect, could wish for a 36.5 though. I have high arches, so no support was not ideal, but the base is VERY comfortable. Danced all night in them!

I bought these sandals more for the cute factor but they are surprisingly comfortable too. The high heel is nicely offset by the platform. The insole is cushioned. Fit is true to size. Got compliments first day out.

Love this shoe. It fit better for me than the Roseland (a little bigger than this style despite same size). This is wearable art. I added a Foot Petal pad to toe for added comfort. Walked 1.5 miles w/o any problem.

I am typically 5-5 to.5 and the 35 is a perfect fit for me - I love this shoe, I have 2 others in other colors and always get comments when wearing. These shoes also came today with heel sole replacement - a first for me and I consider myself a "shoe-ohalic". What a lovely "lagniappe". My other 2 did not come with extras heel soles -they were purchased 4 yrs ago and still w/o deterioration. I can highly recommend not only this shoe but this brand.

These shoes are cute, comfortable, and stylish. I’ve had mine for a couple of years. I get so many compliments about these and all my L’Artiste shoes (I have about 10 pairs). However, after wearing them a few times, I noticed they began to squeak. This is really annoying. Anyone else have this problem.

Lots of compliments when I wear these. They are true to size (I wear a 9-9.5) and so comfortable. I love this brand!

This is my third pair of L'Artiste shoes!! And I love them all! Love the style and fit of these shoes. I can wear them all day with no wishing I could take them off!! And not sure why but it's showing the black shoes and mine were tan colored. I'm sure the black would be great as well>

I have purchased several pairs for my niece, she absolutely loves them! She says they fit like a glove and wears them constantly! From sandals to boots they are the most trendy shoe fashion to have come out in years! I have seen memes by different companies, but they are no way comparable !!! Thanks Zappos for always being on the cutting edge of fashion!

these shoes are super cute! quite comfortable given the heel height, and they look great. Fit was perfect. I think I'll buy some in other colors too
