There is a conspiracy, I think, that makes it so you can have comfortable frumpy shoes or painful stylish shoes. I was really hoping this brand would put an end to that nonsense. But no. Adorable as they are, the leather is cheap with rough edges. Fine if you have hide for skin. Otherwise, blister city. Arch support is minimal. Seriously shoe makers, there is a huge market for shoes that look like these and feel like SAS. BTW, I tried on 5 different L'Artiste styles. All rough on skin. So disappointing. Zappos, as always, Awesome.

True to length, between 6-6.5, in US sizing, this would be a wide. I cannot tighten the straps enough to get a medium width. These are beautiful, fun shoes. Too bad the straps are do long. The foot bed is not wide, which I find odd.

TOO WIDE FOR ME. THE STRAPS DRUG THE FLOOR WHEN I TIGHTENED THEM TO FIT.

These shoes are very comfortable & incredibly cute! Got many compliments when I wore them. All of the colors on the shoe make these a great match for many outfits. Each strap is adjustable, so can really customize them

These shoes are so pretty but just didn't fit right. Tried 2 sizes. You need to have a high broad foot for the ankle straps to fit right.

I got these sandals in a 36 and that was too big. I returned them for a 35 and that was still too big. The problem is that all the straps do adjust, but you can only go bigger. It is hard to explain, but the straps are not really pliable. For example, you can only bend your fingers at the knuckle. I needed to bend the straps just a bit more, and it does not work. The style is really adorable, but they just do not fit my small feet.

The shoe runs a bit small, but other than that I loved the style, comfort and colors.

Straps are EXTREMELY long. These shoes are perfectly adorable, but made for more voluminous feet than mine. Even if you sometimes wear a "W", these might have too much strap. I tried every way to make them work, b/c they are sooo cute, but, alas, they are going back.

Very comfortable shoe and true to size. Casual shoe but a step up in design from the usual sandals.

I like these sandal because I prefer a little bling to spice up my feet. The straps are velcro so they can be adjusted for a perfect fit.

Cute sandals. I bought them in brown and they look good on. My feet are on the narrow side of medium width so they are a bit loose but not so much that I will return them. The straps are adjusted as tight as they will go. The foot bed is comfortable. I wear size 10 and the corresponding size 41 fits okay. I think they are as cute in person as they are in the picture.

These sandals were exactly what I wanted -- great style, comfort and fit. They were comfortable right out of the box, which was such a relief. I love them!

I love these sandals! They go with anything casual. Colors are great. Am always getting compliments because they are something different. Very comfortable.

They are super cute, kinda BoHo looking. Nice with rolled up jeans. The fit is a tad small, I ordered the next size up, lucky, because they just fit lengthwise. They are super comfortable right out of the box.

These sandals are adorable and comfortable right out of the box. Yes, I know other people say shoes are comfortable out of the box, but that rarely happens for me. I'm thinking of getting them in at least one more color.

SO COMFORTABLE!! These are the trendiest "slippers" that you'll ever own! They are only available in whole sizes so even though I'm a 6.5 normally, because it's open toe I purchased the size 6 and the fit was perfect.

Very fun,artsy-type sandal; true to its name. All straps are adjustable which is key. The size 42 fits like a 10.5; not 11.

Even though it's only Medium Width, and I take an extra wide, it almost fit. Straps are all very adjustable and not stiff. But the maker's emblem on the sole is very irritating to me (I'm very sensitive, though), and too much of the Velcro shows on the straps when I make them wide enough for my *very* wide foot. But oh so close to a keeper... especially because my husband said they're "very pretty." I'm really sad to return them and hope you-all give them a try. My ideal shoe would have stretch bands under the adjustable straps, a cloth or leather inner sole (like this one does have) but with no emblem, soft & flexible straps... plenty of customization and TLC, in other words. And of course it should be attractive/ cute. Do any of you have recommendations?

I am usually a firm 8.5 in Spring Step and these shoes seemed very small. I will be exchanging them for the 9. The colors and craftsmanship (as always with Spring Step) are very nice. That said, this shoe felt a bit overpriced in comparison to others of theirs that I have and really love. I am exchanging instead of returning outright (which I did consider) because I got these for an upcoming trip and don't really want to try to find something else that will go with so much. I am hoping that they feel a bit more up to the price tag if they fit a little better.
