I liked these shoes and they are very comfortable but an 8.5 was a little snug and the 9 slipped off my heel when I walked. I’ve had other Ariats and they wore great but this style just didn’t work out for me.

Cons: Heels too wide, slipped off when walking. Pros: I loved this style, and thought I'd wear them every where. Bummer about the big heels.

They're nice looking shoes and I love the style but they are NOT true to size. I wear a size US 11/EU 42 in most every shoe. The box arrived and said 11/EU 42.5 and they are a full size too big. I also ordered a pair of Sofft Billie mules in size 11. The box says 11/EU 43! I thought "Oh hell!" but they fit... I was thinking Zappos should use EU sizing on all shoes as well since I thought I could count on the EU sizing, but obviously not!

I'm very conflicted. I purchased these in an 8.5 Cheetah and a size 8 Camo. The size 8.5 Cheetah were very large on me and the size 8 Camo was quite small. This shoe does have a small toe box compared to the rest of the width. The other thing that I found interesting was that I ordered the size 8 in the Cheetah and it fit quite nicely. For reference I wear a size 7.5 dress shoe and typically an 8.5 Brooks sneaker (as I need the wider toe box width with a sock on.) I also wear a size 8 in Skechers slip-ons without my toes rubbing on the end of the shoe. The Cheetah with the turquoise accents and the Camo with the pink accents are both quite nice looking if you're into patterns.

I am normally an 8, tried the 8, 7 1/2 and finally the 7 fits!

This is a comfortable, casual shoe. I bought the right length, but they are a bit loose on my heel. Other than that, I'm happy with them.

Slipped on my heel

I wore them around the house for about 6 days before I could stretch out the forefoot area enough for comfort. It is because of bunions the area was too tight. I moistened the inside area around the bunion area and it did stretch. I won't go out in them until I am more certain how long I can wear them. I did not have trouble slipping out the back as some have mentioned. I ordered my usual 8M. If you need arch support these flats will not help you and that might be part of why they irritated my bunion area.

I am going to wear these around the house a few days to decide. I have bunions and they may be too snug there. The leather is soft enough to stretch a bit, so I am not returning yet. I did feel they were true to size in other ways, A larger size would not help the bunion issue. They do not slip off my heel, as some said they had this issue. Not really much arch support, if that is important to you. I am wearing with thin, no-show liner socks.

I have other pairs of these shoes and absolutely love them. BUT, this particular shoe runs big. Where I normally need a size 7, this is more like a 7.5 to 8. I'm giving them to a friend of mine who can wear them and hope to find another pair in my size.

Typically, my Ariat boots in size 9 have been a wonderful fit for my wide feet, with plenty of room in the toe box and in the length. These shoes felt narrow (A-B width) and short. I'm so disappointed as they are ridiculously cute! I love the cowboy print so much I am ordering a full size larger with the hope that it will work, but I've a feeling I'll be returning them. I gave the comfort rating 2 stars due to the narrow fit, but that is not really fair. I'm just accustomed to a totally different fit from Ariat, one that has always worked wonderfully -- until now -- for me. Ariat, PLEASE make wide sizes options for all of your women's shoes or go back to your generous fit again!! It is so difficult for women with wide feet to find women's shoes that fit.

These are cute, but a little tight through the forefoot. Just not quite the style or fit I was hoping for.

I bought my true size with these. They fit perfectly. The heel does slip a little, I assume from the V shape in the back. I used a regular, low profile insole to add a little cushion and to stop the heel slipping. Worked great.
