This jacket is just the right weight for cooler spring days. I love that it's cut a little closer because I don't like baggy clothes. It's maybe just a little tight under the arms, but not enough for me not to wear it.

I am so happy with my new purchase! The jacket is warm, wind resistant, and stylish! My favorite feature is the adjustable waistline; you can adjust it to fit just right! Highly recommend!

I bought this jacket as a gift for my daughter's 16th birthday. She loves it, the only reason it's not 5 starts is because she wishes it was just a bit longer. 1/2 to an inch longer. She is tall so she tends to pull it down often. Other than that is wonderful. The colors are great and she loves how it feels and it's very warm for being so light.

I purchased the bionic jacket in pink. Loved the color! Just didn't fit in bust area. Wanted to try a bigger size but only available in black in that particular size. So returned my pink one and hoping to find a pink one a little bigger.

This is a really nice looking jacket, but be warned, it runs pretty small. Unfortunately this one ended up with my son's girlfriend instead of myself, but she loves it!

I did not own a good jacket before this one! It's waterproof, warm, and I always get compliments on it. I got the marker blue one and it is just like the picture. Came in 3 days early too. The only thing that bothers me is the collar. But I love my jacket.

I really like the jacket, however, the color of the fire brick red is actually a bright orange color. Really wish it was more red than orange.

I have been wanting this jacket for quite a while. It is a great in between weather jacket for the area I live in. The price is a bit high, but hopefully I will get many years of wear from it.

I bought this jacket after seeing someone with my body type wearing it at school. I am under 5 feet tall, and the jacket fits perfectly. It stops at my hips, and the sleeves are not too long. It provides good warmth in the winter, but not enough for parts of the world that drop below 25 degrees. Right now it's about 28 degree mornings, and I feel a little cold wearing it. I bought the offwhite color and it is fantastic! The only thing is that I wish it was a little more fitted through the waist. But I love the breast and side pockets. The jacket has room for me to wear a large sweater underneath. I machine wash my jacket on high, and the quality even though I have had it for over a year. Sometimes you can get a jacket in offwhite and it will turn yellow over time. That is not the case with this jacket. It is worth every penny. Also note, the jacket is more fitted than the picture implies.

This jacket really got tested so far this month, with weather in the 20-30s range and winds up to 20 mph. This jacket definitely is great in the wind. I still felt the wind on my legs even with spandex and yoga pants over them, but nothing through my upper body. I walked outside for an hour in 30 degree weather with 20 mph winds today and did not feel any wind through this jacket. You will feel the cold though. I had an underarmour turtleneck on and I was fine, so make sure you have a proper layer underneath when the temperature drops. This jacket is also really good for running. I wear it when the weather drops below 30. You heat up quick, but the moisture is released so you don't stay wet and get cold. Was a little disappointed that some of the sewing on the shoulder came out less than a week after I bought it, so will have to take it to a tailor, but that was the only draw back. I wish the thread they used to sew the jacket was sturdier.

I live in the tropics where rain is unexpected and cold weather is never cold. I've been reluctant all my life to invest in a nice jacket, but when I moved to a rainy, "cooler"place, it became a true necessity. I was lloking for something light yet versatile, something to keep me warm but not too hot, something to keep me from water too. Since rain is always moderate, I find this the perfect jacket for this crazy weather of the tropics. 8/10.

I love the style but not the stiffness if the material. But overall not a bad style. Ended up returning this one to get a different Apex with softer material.

I love the jacket on fall days. Not insulated, but it is a heavier coat than a rain shell. Not a flattering fit. Wasn't thrilled that there wasn't other clour options.

I will sadly be returning this. I don't like the way it fits at all, way too narrow in some spots and bulky in others. Not flattering if you have any type of curves. I wanted to love it, it's a great color and material.

The Blue Wing Teal color is NOT TEAL like the picture shows! Its like a dusty blue color instead. If I would've known that I would have never gone with this color. Extremely disappointed, seeing as though this product costs so much.. Also, I had to buy an XXL in order for it to fit me, whereas I normally wear a L or sometimes XL because I have a larger chest area. Luckily I read the reviews at the bottom before I made the purchase. Otherwise I would have just returned it all together for wrong size and incorrect coloring. In general I like the jacket feel, the light weight, it is warm, and overall will get me where I'm going. Which is why I settled for a 3 star review. Get your colors and sizes correct TNF!!

Flag blue was beautiful. I wish the cut worked for my body type. New fitted cut works in theory for a more flattering fit in the torso, however you would need to size up. I'm usually a Small but the Medium fit me better. The sleeves were ultra long on me for the Small and Medium. The product just looked ackward for my petite frame with the curves in my hip area. Unfortunately I had to return. Otherwise, I would have loved to have this jacket protect me from the elements.

This is my second apex jacket and for the most part it is very nice. However, as others have mentioned, the arm length is way too long and ruin the whole look of the jacket. My old apex jacket fits great but this updated version definitely changed the length of the arms. I am 5'2" and weight 125 pounds and I purchased a size small. The fit is flattering and the jacket is well made, but unfortunately I returned due to the freakishly long arms.

Just as every day jacket to go out to gym, grandchildren games , I am keeping it, because this is the jacket I was looking for, but it is tight on the waist. But not available in the next size up.

I have 2 of these jackets from a few years ago. I just ordered another as my 2 are starting to wear. The cut is different and the front falls strange. Returning

I am in the same camp of those who loves their original Apex jacket. I have a black on that I've worn on numerous backpacking trips in California (nothing too cold). I wear it casually as well and it still holds up pretty well even after a decade. I really wanted to like the new version. I think the jacket is definitely more stylish and form fitting, however, the material is much stiffer. I like that it is longer, but the sleeves are way too long, and just based on that I really wanted to return the jacket but eventually kept it since the body fitting was nice enough. The logo is not embroidered so that was also a downgrade. The dark gray is a really nice but the logo cannot be seem bc it's also gray. Overall, it's just an ok jacket. I really think this should be a completely different jacket instead of calling it an Apex version 2.

Fit & craftsmanship are very good. I have several NF pieces and love all except for this updated version. I was going to return, but I have decided to keep around as extra jacket. Although it keeps you warm, fabric is heavy and too stiff. Doesn't give like the previous version to make it comfortable.

Purchased jacket in gray and was hoping to love it. However, I was disappointed in the fabric. It was extremely stiff, to the point I couldn't get the collar to pop down. It's a good looking jacket but I will have to return. Size up as it runs small.

Fit great, inside lining was super soft and warm. Totally waterproof/windproof. Too bad the zipper completely broke after only 2 months of wearing it and washing it once.
