I loved this shoe but the regular was too narrow and wide was too big : (

Based on reviews, I purchased a 6 (my usual size) but chose "wide" width, as other buyers had noted this shoe ran narrow. I do not have an exceptionally wide foot, but often find regular width shoes are a bit tight. I actually found this shoe in "wide" to be too wide; it was not snug enough up top, so my heel was slipping out of the back with nearly every step. It is a very cute shoe though, so I will be exchanging it for a regular width size 6.

I have the black in these for the past year and practically wore them all Spring and Summer because they were so comfortable. I had to sz down from an 8 to 7.5 in the black but I recently purchased the tan in 7.5 and they happen to be too big. I have to say the sizing in these are inconsistent. I am returning the tan but not sure if I'll try the 7 because they are snug on first couple of wears but stretch a little after.

Way too big. Fashionable style. No arch support though. Wide enough for my wide foot. Back they go.

So let me start by saying how cute they are. They are casual but stylish and can be worn with khakis or jeans. However, I do agree with most of the reviews. My foot kept slipping in and out at the ankle. Super annoying. I really didn’t want to return these so in a last ditch effort I put in a pair of gel heel liners from another pair of shoes and it instantly did the trick. My foot stayed in place - no slippage - with the added bonus of blister prevention! If u really like these and are having the same issue I suggest u give it a shot.

These are very cute but not meant for wide feet.

Overall, I like this shoe quite a bit. It fits a bit loose, which I prefer when I need to walk a lot or be on my feet for a long time. I wish the sole was a bit more flexible but it's ok. I got the moss green and the color is beautiful. I like the fact that the shoe has plenty sole so I don't feel I'm walking barefoot. The sole protects my foot very well.

Here's the deal - I love this shoe. I wrote a previous review about it a few days ago saying that the medium width felt too tight so I ordered a wide and that seemed to do the trick. Well it didn't. The wide is simply too loose so I'm returning them. I'm a size 9.5 and going up a half size was also too big. I'm sad because I love the design and the shoes are very comfy with cushioned padding inside. I think these shoes and I aren't meant to be - but I would recommend trying them if you like what you see! They might work for you!

I like these shoes a lot. They are very cute for summer and they are also very comfortable. However, I had to try several pair before I found the right fit. I'm a 9.5M and I tried several 9.5's in different colors (some from Zappos and a couple from another retailer) until I realized they simply felt too narrow. I also could tell that if I ordered a 10 they would slip off my heel, so I decided to try 9.5 wide. I've never ordered a wide in any shoe before - ever - but this did the trick for these particular shoes. They are much more comfortable in the wide width. If you have a narrow foot, you should be fine with the Medium width, but this is just a heads up for anyone with a regular width foot who might need to try the wide.

This shoe is not only adorable but comfy!!

I really wanted to keep these shoes - but - felt like they looked more like a fall shoe rather than a spring/summer shoe. I ordered the chambray and putty color. I had also ordered the same style in Tom's. I kept the Toms and send these back. They were also pretty snug - but going down a 1/2 size I thought was TOO snug.

I order a half size smaller than normal after reading other reviews.. It's a narrow fit, but it's a really cute style.. The suede gives it an elevated look - can be dressed up or down... Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

I've tried these shoes on at the store and found that they run narrow. I am a true 6 1/2 so I ordered a 1/2 size up - 7. they very cute and stylish.

These are the cutest shoes! I am so disappointed that I can't wear them. They are significantly narrower than average, and I could barely squeeze my feet into them. The uppers will probably stretch, but the footbed itself is actually too narrow for my feet. My feet are wide, but not extremely wide. On a positive note, the shoes are very attractive and well made, with a nice cushy footbed. If your feet are average to narrow width, you will love them.

These are great looking and would be very comfortable. However, I found the footbed too narrow. I have pretty average feet and do not consider my feet wide. I'm normally a true 9. But these 9s were slightly small. And the 9.5s were too long, yet still too narrow. When I walk my heel slips out. Returning.

I'm usually an 8.5 or 9.0 shoe size. I first tried these in 9.5 and knew I need to size down. Tried an 8 & 8.5 but they were too tight. Went for the 9.0 but sadly the heels slip out. Frustrating because I love the look of these and they're well made for the price!

I love these shoes but the fit was too narrow. I cannot go up size because the length will be too big. Lucky you if you you have a better fit. It kills me to return these.

I wanted to love these shoes but they were way too narrow for me. My foot stretched out over the base of the shoe. I'm a normal 7.5. You need a really thin foot to wear these and have them look good. They are super cute though!

I'm still on the fence about these. They are super cute from the side, but from the front/top, they don't look like a skate shoe because they are too very narrow. If they were just a tad wider in front (not as wide as Vans though), they'd look better to me. But I guess the goal was to make an espadrille, not a skate shoe. Otherwise, they are narrow but just feel a tad snug and should stretch since they are leather. My foot is a 6.5M and this size fit; I don't advise buying if you have wide feet. They have padding and are comfortable and high quality in appearance.

The Sam Edelman Carrin is a stylish, casual slip on. I have received numerous compliments about them. I wear a 5 and the shoe is a bit loose. It felt better with an insole. I can't wait to continue wearing them all Spring. FYI they look great with jeans and leggings.
