I would probably use the product as a rain coat and/or shell. Really really hard to say if I can recommend.

Worn it during a slight rain and did not stay dry. Had to remove wet clothes.

Wow!.....I was just reviewing my past purchase's, I can't believe I didn't send this item back for a Refund......I only wore this jacket once for about 25 minutes it has always been on the shelf since. What amazes me is the fact I paid $110.00 for a jacket that isn't worth anymore than $39.00, it's just a Nylon Parka that can fit in your pants pocket when not wearing it. Totally Over Priced item, it slipped by me somehow.

I have been a long time purchaser and supporter of North Face items and outdoor gear. this is an honest review. I am extremely disappointed in North Face. I would not wear this jacket for the simple fact that it does not meet any beneficial needs, wants nor must haves. North Face what happened!? The quality has gone down the tubes and I've wasted a lot of time trying to sort out warrantee issues as well. This is concerning. Very very very disappointed.

Spoiler alert: I'm not happy with this jacket. I always have a rain jacket on hand so this is not my first experience with rain jackets. My overall impression was good and I had high expectations based on another North Face jacket I own. So far I have only used this rain jacket in light rain and it did keep me dry so it does work. The fit is good, the construction is good, and I like the color (Twill Beige) but The outer layer is unlike any other rain jacket I have ever had. The fabric has a soft touch feel that picks up dirt very easily and is not easy to clean. Dirt doesn't wipe off like it does on every other rain jacket I have ever had. The inner lining in one word is cheap. At least it has an inner lining though. This rain jacket is also advertised to be lightweight but it is not and definitely not packable. It will take up just as much room in your pack as a heavy outer shell. I purchased this jacket from Amazon and I am actually suspicious of its quality.

The dimensions of the jacket are very disproportionate. I bought a Medium size, and the sleeves were really big/wide, as well as a bit long. The jacket is very heavy and was not what I was expecting for a waterproof jacket. Would not recommend.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I ordered my normal size and The North Face Millerton Jacket appeared to fit well. However, the first time I wore it I realized I had made a mistake. The shoulders bind to the point I had to take the jacket off to drive. I don't think I'll wear this jacket again.
I'd also recommend:

From the photos it looks like this jacket has a fold up hood but it is just a hanging hood.

When the jacket came, the tag said "relaxed fit" not "active fit" like it says here on the site. This made sense once I tried it on. The body of the jacket fit fine, but the sleeves were so baggy that they just looked silly. I looked like a little kid wearing my dad's jacket. Not sure if the website is wrong in labeling this item or if the jacket is just poorly made. Either way now I have to return it. No fun.
