These flip flops have a rubber "stem" the part that goes between your toes. I have always avoided the cheap rubber flip flops as I have found those to really irritate the area between my toes and they never get broken in like fabric, leather, or other material. I mistakenly assumed these more expensive flip flops would be more comfortable but I'm sorry to say they are not. I picked these for the look and because they did not have arch support....which I don't like in a flip flop.

I've traditionally only worn thin-strapped Havaianas, however I am glad that Havaianas now makes thicker strapped styles. This pair is very stylish and quite comfortable. Will for sure buy this style in more colors!

These flip flops are really comfortable. Only $34. I lost the pair I bought after one year and definitely am ordering another pair (the reason I'm on zappos now). Highly recommend these.

These flops look fresh, however they are uncomfortable and the rubber toe separating the toes is irritating. I'm sending them back immediately!
