Loved these shoes, attractive, comfortable-the perfect summer casual shoe but definitely OK to wear with more dressy, fun outfits-what used to be called when I lived in Dallas, TX, "Dallas casual"-yes those words actually appeared on invites. But I found them extremely difficult to fasten. A little velcro strap that one had to thread through a small buckle at the very bottom of the outside of the instep.

These would have been super comfortable had they been a touch wider. I have a bit of a wider foot, so if you dont, then it may not be a problem for you and the size may be true. The length was perfect, but the width was not. Lovely color and roomy toe box. I may have to try sizing up, although that does not always work, since the length was fine.

These are gorgeous summer shoes - particularly because I was looking for a close toed sandal. They do run a little large. I normally wear a 6 and bought a 37. I am afraid that a 36 would be too short. I added insoles for arch support because the shoe does not have any. They are great for my wide foot. very soft leather.

I bought these while I was in Poland on a hot summer day. I had bought some other sandals while there that were not working and I needed a better option. While they weren't my first choice of the Pikolinos designs (limited in my size), I was so glad I bought them. Incredibly comfortable, offering the ventilation of a sandal with the toe coverage of a closed shoe (always possible). My feet do not get tired in these shoes! I have high instep and arches, hammer toes and generally unsatisfied feet, and nothing rubbed or irritated my feet from day one. My only complaint is that because of the high instep the Velcro is not generous in terms of the closure. However, there is enough for them to stay on. Also, while they were comfortable for walking all day, I probably would have chosen a slightly more sturdy Puerto Vallarta design, as these are a bit delicate, though truly beautiful. Feminine and very European-style. This was my first pair of Pikolinos and I plan to come back for more!

Very cute & would be extremely comfortable for someone who doesn't need arch support or use orthotics. The footbed is sewn in, so there's no way to add any. 'Sorry, they have to go back... ...

Beautiful, well made shoes, but I'm returning because left strap is too tight to fasten. What a disappointment. I have similar shoes from Pikolinos which have been favorites.

This is a really cute shoe, so I was bummed that it didn't work for me. The size 42 was too small for my foot all around (I wear a 11.5/12 wide). The ankle strap did not come close to the "hook" side of the Velcro - it was way too short. And the shoe had a narrow foot bed. Unfortunately, I need to return it.

I was really looking forward to my new Pikolinos. I bought a pair of Pikolino Cadaques last year and fell in love with them. Sadly they are discontinued so I tried these Puerto Vallarta. Their fit was very different from what I expected. The toe box was too wide and the shoe was about 1/2 size too long. How disappointing. Normally I wear a 38 in European sizes and I'm a 7 1/2 in American.

I wanted to like these shoes. I have a lot of Pikolinos, and they usually fit true to size. These shoes looked stylish, and Pikolinos are usually very comfortable and have a nice toe box. However, these shoes were huge and way too wide. They were floppy on my feet.

Cute shoe, love the look and comfortable EXCEPT the stitching on the back heel of the left shoe is VERY rough. It’s not something I feel will soften with wear. Maybe it got missed in the quality inspection, I’ve been very happy with Pikolinos product in the past. However, at this price, I don’t think I will spend more to take it to a shoe repair in the chance they could fix it. I’m still thinking of returning and ordering another pair in hopes the second pair does not have the same problem.

This is a really cute shoe, well made and versatile. The "nata" color is a nice cream, but the cut-outs appear to be outlined in a darker color, so the overall impression is almost a light taupe. Aesthetically, it gets 5 stars. But in terms of design, no so great. Slipper-thin soles, virtually no arch support, and the velcro strap is a bit short. Two factors made me decide I had to send this one back: the edge of the upper cut into the small bunion I have on my right foot, and it felt like heaven to take that shoe off. Also, there were marks on the back of the heel and on the soles and it was clear that the shoe had been worn.

I found that the outside of my foot was resting on the stitching that connects the upper to the sole of the shoe. I wear a wide when it is available, and this style doesn't come in a wide. Presumably it would be less of a problem for someone with narrower feet. However I am returning them.

I usually wear a 37 in this brand but this shoe, while really cute, just failed me on every aspect of fit. My foot flopped around inside of shoe. The upper/top gaped above the top of my foot, the sides were slightly too wide and the strap could not be tightened (velcro only goes so far) to try to make the shoe snug. I don't have narrow feet but in this shoe I felt like I would need to have a narrow option. A 36 would be too short, so sadly these go back.

The strap is really tight. It would have been better if the strap were longer and the velcro wrapped back on itself. Otherwise a very cute shoe; too bad I could not wear it.

They are very attractive and versatile.

These shoes are so cute and this is my second pair.This one’s color is really unusual but very pretty and I think it will match a lot of things. They are a great neutral.

I love the wide sizes: it makes it possible to get shoes that fit! These shoes are comfortable and stylish.
