I have NO idea what the bad reviews are about for these shoes. I almost did not buy them because of all the negative reviews. First off, to address the fit, they are 100% accurate in my opinion. I can sometimes wear a 6.5 but mostly wear a 7 in shoes so I ordered a "7". If I would have gone a 1/2 size smaller as suggested in some reviews, they would have been too small!! I have no idea why anyone would wear these barefoot (super GROSS) so maybe that is what the heel slippage complaints are from? I always wear half socks with shoes (except flip flops) to avoid stinky shoes/feet and these were no exception. In my opinion, socks are a must with these shoes as they have a cloth bottom which will stink up very fast. To give credit, my heel did slip a tiny bit when I had no socks on when I was just trying them on, but with socks there is no slipping at all. So now that the fit issue is cleared up, now to comfort and style. Comfort and style is what these shoes really excel at. I am so sick of shoe makers think all women want those sky high monster shoes. I can not tell you how much I despise those huge freaking heels most shoes have on them and these are a refreshing mix of some height but not to much. They are actually the perfect height and they are SO comfy. I have super wide Fred Flintstone feet and these are like a dream for me to walk in (although a tiny bit snug in the toe area but nothing I can't deal with). Overall, these shoes are probably my favorite shoes right now and I adore them so much and will order more colors soon. Another huge bonus is proceeds help shelter dogs which I am all about! Adopt, don't shop!!!

These shoes are super comfortable! I'm seriously thinking about getting some in other colors--they don't slide on my heel like others have said--I don't know why or why not--but I can say these shoes were comfortable wearing them ALL DAY--love!

I wanted a comfort walking shoe, yet a little stylish and airy, for a trip to Mexico. Each day I walked about 5 miles in these, up and down hill and all over town without any discomfort and sockless! They do stretch a little, not bad tho', I basically wore the two pair I bought for the entire trip, leaving all my other shoes untouched. Comfort is more important than being in heals or high wedges, which I know takes practice. I do wear but not on those streets, distance or for beach restaurants, as a lot of women do! I highly recommend. I bought the bright pink also, I would have bought black but out of my size!

These are cute, they fit me just fine but the heel slips so badly that I cannot walk across the room. I tried 2 sizes; first was my usual size 8 and I returned those and tried a 7.5 and have now returned those, again because of heel slippage. I think there is something wrong in the design because the heel is so heavy and the heel fabric so light that it just pulls off the heel. I won't buy this brand again.

Loved these so much and received so many compliments, I ordered another pair in black. Zappos is my only shoe store!

I just got these and pink and they are super cute! I am a size 6 and they are very true to size. The heel slippage everyone is talking about, I think has less to do with size and more to do with the material. They slip a bit, but not enough to warrant a size down. I love those shoes and plan to buy a pair in ivory if they get more in my size!! Hint, hint Zappos!!

Too soon for me to comment about long term comfort but I wear between 7-8 and ordered these in an 8. I needed to use a gel insert to get the best fit with an 8 which seems to have done the trick.

Beautiful, soft and comfortable! But they kept slipping off my heels when I walked so returning them, unfortunately.

Love the look of these shoes, but, the cushion on the inside is so high, my foot slips out the back when I walk. It doesn't stay on.

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. I love the look and the fit was perfect. I read the reviews about the heel slippage before I purchased and decided to give them a try anyway. Unfortunately, the heel slippage was enough of an issue to send them back. Too bad. I really liked this shoe. I have two other pairs of Bob's with the lace look and they don't have this issue.

These are really fun cute shoes but my feet tend to slide to the front of of the shoe causing my toes to crunch in the toe of the shoe and leave a gap between my heel and the heel of the shoe.

I love these shoes but I am a true 7.5 and yup my heel slipped out when walking. My simple fix was adding shoes liners. It worked perfectly. Got a two pack from walmart and cut to size. I bought the ivory and black wedges and am very happy with them.

Loved these! So adorable, but literally foot slipped out every time I walked. Will be returning, might order 1/2 size down.

These are very cute and quite comfortable except for one considerable flaw. The soles do not flex making it impossible to walk and keep them on your feet.

So cute but too big. I got my normal size 8 and they are too big. And heavy. Unfortunately I will be sending these back.

This shoe is cute and I wanted it to work, but it's engineering conspired against fit. The wedge sole is heavy and the upper fabric is lightweight. This caused the sole to pull at the fabric when you walked and just pulled the shoe right off my foot. I tried my regular size first, an 8, and it was definitely a half size too big. I tried a 7 1/2 and that's when it started to feel a bit short in length, but the sole weight still pulled one shoe off my foot. Bummer, because they had a very comfortable foot bed and a really cute design.

I rarely write reviews, however these shoes are the exception. I always wear a 7, so that is what I started with. They literally fell off of my feet. I returned them for a 6, which I could barely squeeze my feet into. Then ordered a 6.5, which felt like it fit but when walking the heel slid up and down. Wanted to love these, but the 3rd pair is going back too! I tried!

Was excited to get these until I almost fell after taking 4 steps. My heels kept slipping out. No way will these work for me. Even tried double sided tape but the sole is too heavy and it still kept slipping. They were comfortable when standing still. Unfortunately, I move around quite a bit. They are ready to ship back.

These are very cute and comfortable but the back slides off with any walking. I even tried a size down and it made no difference. It seems like it would be impossible to walk in these shoes.
