This slide offers excellent arch support for those that are suffering from foot issues and need the support, this is a good option. I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis (PF). This slide makes it possible for me to wear slides without the PF pain. The only con is that I think the sole could be a little more stiff/absorbant. When walking on stones, you can feel them right thru the sole.

Size 10 good fit - I like the velcro since my feet are narrow. Comfortable to wear around the house. No complaints although still not as nice as my old Ralph Lauren slides.

TOO MUCH ARCH SUPPORT. VERY uncomfortable. Also, I have a size 6, narrow foot and the medium width was too small/my toes hung over the top. I'd say go up a size but with that arch support I don't think that would work either. Returning.

This is my second pair. I have very flat feet and these have excellent arch support. I had the other pair for several years and wore them so often the heel wore down.

These are wonderful shoes for someone with a high arch. The adjustable upper makes it work for wide or narrow feet, and the sole is well cushioned for people like me who have very little padding on their feet. I cannot go barefoot anymore, and these are my lifesavers in the house.

I haven't done a lot of walking in them, but the contour of the foot bed feels right on my foot. I have a high instep, so the high arch works for me. For the price these suit my purpose of summer slip- ons for around the house and near water.

I purchased a size 5 and couldn't be happier. I had to get my roommate to tighten the right one (thank goodness for velcro) a little bit but, hey, that is exactly why they are made with velcro! Fantastic arch support for Plantar Fasciitis sufferers. The last pair I had similar (CVS Pure Align) were a 5/6 and were really too long. Your toes need to be right at the top of the shoe for - TOE SUPPORT! and right at the back for - HEEL SUPPORT! Thanks New Balance for an excellent slide!

These slides are more serious footwear than I expected. Very comfortable if you like plenty of arch support in your sandals. Even the Medium width adjusted enough for my very wide feet, and the strap lining is soft. The texture of the footbed is nicely grippy so my feet don't slip when walking.

These shoes were cuter than I expected. Lightweight. I was hoping to use them as indoor slippers. They were super comfortable until I stood up. The arch support feels like a rather sharp ridge. I can't imagine these would feel good on most feet.

depending on width, i'm either a 7 1/2 or 8-- i got these in an 8 and they fit great. At first i thought the arch support was going to bother me- but now they've turned into my house slipper- they give great support. I may need to get another pair to wear outside of the apartment.

Very comfy...these may not work well for narrow feet, as the limited area of hook and loop doesn't allow much for adjustments.

Arch support is substantial. I needed a narrow width which may have some affect on the high arch support not being comfortable.

I'm returning. No arch support and runs very small.

I read the other reviews about the uncomfortable arches in this sandal. I tried them anyways because I'm looking for some simple slides with a sneakery footbed, that comes in a wide size with an adjustable strap (I have bunions), and without an obvious big logo in the design. These criteria are hard to find in one shoe. But unfortunately I agree with others that the arches in these sandals are not wearable. They are in the wrong place, weirdly small, and very hard. It hurts just to stand in them, let alone walk.

As other reviewers have noted, these have a big bump for "arch support". It's weird, and super uncomfortable. The toe shape is also weirdly pointy/asymmetrical.

As much as I love New Balance shoes for their comfort and durability, I didn't find these slides comfortable. The lack of comfort probably has more to do with my feet than with the product. I was hopeful they would work out.
