great shoes but strap just hit me in wrong spot so have to return.

back strap too long, not adjustable enough, top straps scratchy next to skin. Cute though.

Too large

I like the looks of the sandals but I can't wear them. Too little across the toes. My little toe on the right foot just doesn't fit right. It hurts.

I liked the shoe but it was too stiff to be comfortable for me.

I liked the fit and look. However, the front strap was very rough next to my skin. I felt I would always have to wear socks with them. That wasn't always going to happen. also, they didn't have a removable foot bed.

I wanted to love these. The top strap rubs my toes as has been said by other posters.

I would love to wear these shoes. They look comfortable and cute. However, I am returning them because they are not flexible and because there is virtually no arch support. I have foot problems and must be careful.

This is such a fun, well-made shoe! The materials and craftspersonship are exceptionally high quality. It seems to have good support and lots of cushioning, while remaining fairly firm (the sole is not too bendy/flexible.) The design is smart. Generally I prefer buckles as I've yet to have Velcro last as long as the rest of a shoe, but I do see the merits now. The ability to completely customize one's fit is appealing. While the orange wasn't my first choice, it was available and was actually quite pleasing. Not screaming orange, not wimpy orange, but just-right orange. I could see it being a non-boring neutral for some folks. I really wanted this shoe to work for me, but the fit was just a bit off. I feel like maybe it was that the footbed wasn't quite wide enough for me, though my foot isn't super wide. I am used to shoes that are "full" as opposed to the brands of skinny, tippy-feeling "comfort" shoes that are anything but comfortable. It felt just a wee bit short and narrow. I am usually a solid US 8 in most brands and I'm not sure that the fit issue with this would be remedied by simply sizing up to a 40. Felt like something different might be going on. Granted, I've mostly worn sensible (but cute!) shoes for many years and my feet are spoiled, so maybe it's a quirk on my end. Regardless, because for me it's a pretty darned expensive shoe, I need for it to be perfect in every way. I'll keep looking at Wolky shoes and will likely try other styles to see if I can find my dream shoe. This seems very popular right now and finding sizes and colors can be a challenge depending on the combo you're looking for. This size 39 (US 7.5/8) will be available soon, as I've decided to return it. Give it a go---it would be wonderful for the right person.

Once again, Wolky gets ALMOST everything right. Fit, comfort of insole, style. BUT the inside of the instep strap is the same leather as the outside, and it is rough; the edges rub and scrape against my tender elderly skin. So these are being sent back. Sigh.

Shoe was uncomfortable on my foot.

I absolutely love this beautiful, well made shoe, if only it was wide enough. I wear 9.5 WW and Zappos thought I could wear it if I ordered a 41. Alas, it wasn't wide enough at all so back it goes. For those with a medium width, the colors are as gorgeous as you see online and it's a high quality shoe.

With three (!) velcro straps, you'd think Wolky would make them fully adjustable, but for a narrow foot, these weren't able to adjust tight enough to hold my foot in place. I went with the Pichu style Wolky sandal, which doesn't adjust around the heel, but the other straps are fully adjustable. And Pichu is a narrower looking style, not as clunky as the Rio. Though, I wish I could combine the Rio height of the sole and the styling of the Pichu.

I love Wolkys shoes. However I find the heel strap ring is too high and presses into my ankle bone. The only shoe I can wear, even tho I love all the styles is NIMES as the buckle doesn't bother me and the ankle strap is low enough.

This is very cute and fun looking sandals, but they are not very comfortable for me. I tried to walk on my tile floor in my house and it is hard, my feet are tired so finally returning them,

These are comfortable for long days on your legs. However there are 2 different strap edges that are rough & are rubbing uncomfortable places on my skin. they seem to run true to size

The material was too tough, and hurt my skin

I loved the look of these but after wearing around the house for 15 min, I had a painful red mark on my big toe. Caused by the stiff strap and stitching. So disappointed as I really liked these.

If you need support the jewel is far superior then this shoe. I don't think it's as cute on as it is in the photos either. It also seems a bit narrower so if your foot is on the wide side I don't think the rio is a great fit. I was disappointed. I wish Zappos had more colors and sizes available in the jewel.

The item sent was not the item pictured (Rio black metallic with red sole). The replacement pair sent was exactly the same as the first pair, matte black with gray sole. Back it goes!

So disappointed, these are so cute and love the cushioned sole. BUT the bottom toe strap is literally like a razor blade cutting into the big toe! The edge has a rough or no finish. Fits perfectly so not caused by a fit issue. Would not able to walk for 10 minutes without getting a cut. Strange for a walking shoe.

The velcro strap is too small.
