Love these sandals! I tried on the JBU Melon and 1 other style of JBU sandals at a local shoe store and while I liked the idea of the shoe and the Melon fit great, I just didn't like the look of it. The other JBU shoe I tried on just didn't fit quite right (but it was cute). So immediately I checked Zappos and they had the Margo, which was cute and looked comfy. I ordered them and only had 1 day to "break" them in before taking them on a trip to Hawaii. But as soon as I slipped them on my feet, they were so comfy, I felt pretty good taking them on vacation. We were there for 5 days and they were the only shoes I wore the entire trip. They went from restaurants (casual - not fancy) to the beach to rocky paths. I even wore them to traverse a 300 foot rocky hillside and had no problems. They are super comfortable, they have great support and traction and my foot felt very secure. I wasn't sure if I could make it the entire trip without having to put on tennis shoes for the days when we were going to do a lot of walking, but they performed like a champ. And they have great support, as opposed to flip flops. I purchased the Margo in "black earth" and it does have some dark brown accents (the straps are brown). But truly, I wore them for 5 days before I noticed it....so it's not overly obvious. After 5 days of non-stop wear, the back of one of my heals was a touch sore from the shoe rubbing just slightly, but it wasn't too bad. I will chalk it up to wearing them constantly with no break in period and tons of walking. I didn't wear socks with these sandals, but they don't have a funky smell from all the wear. Truly, these are fabulous sandals and I highly recommend them! I had Plantar fasciitis many years ago, so I am particular when it comes to shoes. It has to be supportive and comfy...but I want it to look good as well. These sandals check all the boxes for me. I know these will be my go to sandal all summer long.

Cute and comfortable. There is roominess at the toe. I've learned that with Jambu I need to order a half size up. These shoes are so pleasing that I have ordered another pair in gray.

These shoes are 2-toned black and white which I didn't realize when I purchased them. The are also a bit more narrow in the toe box than other JBU shoes and they weren't wide enough for me. I didn't care for the style either.

These shoes run short.

This is my second pair of JBU sandals. They are extremely comfortable and last a long time. When it's cold here in California, I just add socks and I am ready to do. Love them!

Unfortunately I have to return these. They run at least a half size small.

They felt great out of the box as I walk around my house, but about 2 miles into a 4 mile walk trouble started. Blisters on both sides of my left foot and a small cut on my right heel developed. I ended up having to take them off and walk barefoot for the last 1/2 mile. I love the look of them, but that was rough! :-(

this shoe runs quite small. may want to order up 1/2 to full size. Foot pad/liner is not very comfortable.

These shoes are great! They look great, are very comfortable and walked all over downtown Denver with them, right out of the box. Why not make them in 10.5? Every other size has a half-size! I ordered the 11, because that is my true size, after receiving them, they were a tad big and somewhat loose around the toes. If there would have been a 10.5, it would have fit perfect. I think 10 would be too small. I would strongly consider ordering another pair if they came in 10.5.

I wore the Jambu Charlie all last summer. Decided to try this vegan style, but it is much shorter than the Charlie (same size). Very cute but ouch!

These are very cute shoes, but they didn't quite suit my feet. Although the size seemed to be accurate, I had trouble keeping my heel in the back of the shoe despite the strap, so my foot moved forward with the hard toe guard pressing on my big toe. Also, the insole felt hard on the sole of my foot. These might work well for someone who does not have a narrow heel and doesn't want or need good cushioning. They were not right for me, but they might suit someone else.

These shoes were beautiful but the straps were scratchy and stiff, and my heels slid around in the shoe. They just wouldn't stop giving me blisters. I think the shoe was too wide for me, but by the time I figured that out it was too late to return them. I think your foot has to fit this shoe pretty exactly for it to be comfy!

I am very sad to say that I will have to return these shoes. I could not get the hook-and-loop strap tight enough so my foot wasn't slipping out of the shoe every time I took a step. Bring back the good old fashion buckles that give you more options to tighten and loosen the strap as needed.

I purchased these because they seemed like they would provide excellent heel support, but they've proven to be more damaging than supportive. I've been wearing them around the house in hopes that they'll soften up, but they've remained unbelievably stiff. It's like they're made out of hard plastic - the kind that will cut if you're not careful. I've been left with severe blisters - turned wounds - each time I've worn them around the house. I now have permanent scars on my heels and sides of my feet. I contacted JBU to see if there's a way to soften them and wear them in, but their response was, "Good luck with the return." So, beyond not recommending this style of shoe, I probably wouldn't recommend JBU as a brand, either.
