I purchase the Ariat Rebar straight leg because cut and fir are perfect. My wife says they are the best fitting jeans I ever owned. I did, however, give it a 4 rating because the material between waist line and pockets looks like an accordion and wrinkled. If they did not have tags attached I may have thought they were returned and re-sold. Material should be a little heavier duty in areas of stress.

I'm short and female. I go with men's pants because of the pockets in men's pants. The pockets are great on this jean. I even found an extra one (front, coin, and knife I guess on the front right). However, to be perfect, I would need a shorter inseam available. And due to the long length and the width of the leg, the bottoms go over my mid-height hiker boot and would drag in the back. As for the rise, it's close, but I could go with just a little lower rise. Also on my jean, the top back panel just below the belt loops, the whole back panel had tiny repeating holes, only on that part of the jean. Weird.

The jeans seem very solid, fit well out of the package, but after a couple of hours the stretch made the fit much looser. Still a good pair!

This is the first pair of "straight leg" Ariat I've purchased. I didn't realize the straight leg was basically boot width at the bottom and then very wide through the leg, albeit "straight". Typical Ariat quality and comfort.

I usually wear a 33/34 but had to return them and get a 33/33 because they were to long. The 33's are still a little long and baggy around the boot.

As usual Ariat Jeans are very comfortable and well made, but when I do a search for black jeans and order a color called Blackstone and the look black on the computer. I expect them to be black not dark blue. These Jeans are definitely not black and that's too bad, because they are really nice jeans. I am disappointed. Ariat is better than this. I hope they reach out and try and help me find some.

The cut isn't consistent some fit great. While others feel tight and have crooked leg seams.

Very straight, virtually no shape at all - only worthwhile for work wear, not for casual wear

They ride up the crotch area very bad. Normal fitting jeans. They also don't have anything smaller then a 32 for length.

I tried both these and the m4. I didn't mind the cut on either except for the low rise is just so excessive. I don't know how you're supposed to keep your pants up and keep em from smashing your junk at the same time

The size on the jeans were labeled the same but there must be an extremely wide tolerance of accuracy because they absolutely do not fit close at all. They are durable jeans though.

The size and fit was not the same as my previously purchased Rebar M5 Straight DuraStretch Edge Stackable Straight Leg Jeans of the same size. These new ones were much larger and looser fitting. I thought they were shrink a bit after washing, but they didn't. Unfortunately, I cannot return since they have been washed and worn. Obviously being mass produced they are not sized the same and will need to try on in the store before I buy next time.

These jeans were too big around the waist and bagy through the legs for an m5. I moved the button myself so the waist line would Be a bit more Snug. Also there is stitching all along the inner waistline that is coarse and irritating

Inconsistent Fit. My husband loved his first pair of Ariat Rebar M5's, so I ordered the exact same style, but the second pair do not fit at all like the first pair. One is perfect and the 2nd is baggy

I recent purchased 3 pair of these online because I love my previous 6 pair that I've worn almost daily for 5-6 years. They are exactly what I anticipated BUT two pair have quality issues. One pair has a hole in the too of pocket where they failed to finish the stitching (this is not a feature; I checked the other pairs). Another pair had a small snag in the material in middle of a back pocket. The third pair was fine.

I don't understand how the same size in the same cut can be so horribly wrong. I ordered the Blackstone. They shrunk slightly and ended up a nice straight fit. I ordered the Ironside in the exact same size and the boot opening is larger than any boot cut jean I own. My wife threw away the tags and receipt so I tried to wash and dry hoping they would shrink. Boot opening stayed huge and they shrunk 2 inches shorter. I now have jeans that were never worn and never will be.

All the reviews 3 and below are true. These are the widest "slim cut" jeans I have ever seen. I get that they are supposed to be a little roomier for comfort when working, but these are closer to relaxed-baggy fit than slim. Ariat has been letting me down as of late with all the changes and wide variance in cut, fit, and feel within their series.

I bought these jeans expected a slim fit straight leg, well after receiving them they were very loose and very baggy. The product description does not fit the product it's self.

I typically wear a size 36 in most every brand, so that's what I ordered. I assumed the waist would shrink a bit and maybe that was way it was a little loose. Unfortunately it didn't shrink much at all. When laid flat and measured, the waist is over 38"! I also bought the dark colored pair in the same size, but they fit perfectly.

These used to be great. They changed design and what you get is different than what is pictured. These were the only jeans I wore for years. They changed the style and they are horrible. As you can see from the pictures, my old pair match the stitching and are sewn all the way down the leg as pictured on the site. The new style have a flap on the inside that isn't sewn, the new material has far less stretch than the original version of these as well. They used to shrink to size some and the new material stays huge and are nothing similar to a straight leg.

I've been wearing Ariat jeans for many years, first product failure. Wore once, washed, denim popped a hole right below seam reinforcement.

Great fit and durable, but need to put the knife pocket on the left side for left handed people. But other than that great pair of jeans
