These socks are much less bulky than most Smartwool socks and just as warm. I'm cold all winter, and will be purchasing additional pairs now that i've tried them. My favorite feature about them is that they are not too tight at the ankle/calf. There are no marks around your leg at the end of the day.

So sorry to say that these socks are not as the ones I got last year! They fit but are much too short. The Cody wool ones last year come half way up my calf. These should be called ankle socks.
They will not be warm enough for winter or high enough to go under my low boots. Come just above the top of the boot. :(
I do not need knee socks, but do need the mid calf sock like I purchased last year.
Very disappointed in Fawlkes this time.

These are the best socks ever! The cashmere makes them soft, and the wool makes them warm. I’ve worn Falke socks for 20+years. Zappos used to carry a wider color selection (pink, red, violet). These socks are easy to care for ( I use the soak cycle cool w/cashmere soap, rinse and then spin dry and hang to finish drying)I still have some from years ago but keep buying because I’m afraid sellers will stop carrying them. LOVE these socks!

The cosiest socks I've ever worn. I first wore these socks a few years ago when I was still working. They were perfect then due to comfort and high quality of Falke. These socks last a long time and look great with my professional black flats I always wore. Now I'm a homemaker and I'm taking ballet for exercise, but my feet were cold in my ballet soft shoes--problem solved with Falke's Cosy Wool Socks! They are thin enough to wear with my tight ballet shoes, but also warm enough so my feet feel very comfortable in the cold dance studio. My street shoe size is 8 1/2 and I ordered Falke's 39-42 size which fits perfectly.

the elastic band is a bit tight, especially when the socks are pulled up all the way (hitting just below calf). other than that, they're pretty much perfect for keeping feet and ankles warm without being bulky or or itchy.
