I have been lusting over these shoes since they came out and finally hopped on them when they were on sale and I had a credit. If you do not like the moon boot look of the Classics, the Slims are for you. They are noticeably slimmer in both the bottom and the shaft, to the point where if you have big calves, move on. The arch support is minor but it is there and the slight heel lift looks cute. It is a much much more grownup look than the Classics. The slim sexy fit comes at the price of some of the comfort that makes the moon boots of old great. There is not nearly as much fluff on the inside, so that walking-on-a-cloud feeling is not the same. Boo! But I do not count any stars off because how else would you get the boot to be slimmer? If you want all the fluffy wool you are going to have to get Classics. I got gray and it is okay. I am returning, even though I love Ugg. I thought that I was ordering the color primer yet gray is what I actually ordered. Plus I think I need a half size smaller. The Slims come in half sizes where the Classics do not, and normally I order a 6 in Classics. I thought based on the reviews I could order my real size of 6½, but putting the shoes on, I feel like they will still stretch, like the originals do. It is still just pelt, after all, with no framework, so the movement of walking is going to loosen it over time. And frankly these are too expensive to wind up in six months with a clown shoe I cannot return because I have been hoofing them all over town. Please bear that in mind ordering. I hear is many people sending Uggs back because they are too tight and getting their real size and thinking that they are golden. Yeah, you are fine now. In a few weeks you are going to be sliding around in them. Remember there is no structural support other than the sole, so you get a little stretching and the wool inside will flatten down soon and leave more room as well. Buy them! If you want Uggs but you do not like the clodhopper look of the others, get them! You give up a little bit of plush comfort but not so much as to be a deal breaker. I would buy again, maybe next time in the middle height, the Amie.

I have been waiting for years for Ugg to make their toe box more narrow and feminine and they finally did it!! I ordered these in black and I love wearing them with the top rolled down to show the lining. They are incredibly comfortable and warm and so much less clunky than the regular Uggs. And as always I'm mystified by Zappos light speed shipping! I placed the order one evening and the boots arrived the next afternoon! Couldn't be more pleased!

This for us size 12 ladies. I usually wear a size 12W or 12WW and I was able to squeeze my feet into the shoes without socks. I have owned a couple pair of the old school Uggs from when they first became really popular and this look is a little more dressy because of the wedge heel and narrow toe. However, these do not fit like the old school round toe Uggs. Normally I would order a size down in those but with this style, order your size. If you have wide feet and are willing to deal with a little discomfort until they stretch out then order them. I am keeping mine and may order the brown color. They look great with jeans and I just need something to slip into when I am going to run errands and do not feel like wearing sneakers. These are Uggs so your feet with not look tiny in them but the wedge heel helps us flat footed girls from having our feet look so wide. I hope this helps.

I have been desperately looking for a pair of slip on winter boots sleek enough to wear to and from the office so that I don't have to shlep across the parking lots in my Stuart Weitzmans. I originally did not consider Ugg, given my past experience trying their boots on - big and clunky, guaranteed to make my feet look 10x bigger. I saw these and decided to give them a try based on other reviews. I have to say, I tried them on and immediately knew these were the ones! They are super comfy, warm and the new paired down design did not make my feet look monstrous. The slight wedge heel gives these boots a nice "bounce" in cushioning when walking and are very stylish in a work appropriate way. I typically wear a size 11 (I'm 6ft and 165lbs) and ordered my usual size. Like other reviewers noted, these fit fine in my normal size and since they are meant to be worn with bare feet, they work well with tights or thin socks. If you want to wear anything heavier like wool socks, I would strongly recommend ordering a size up. Will definitely be looking to purchase another pair in a different color. Bravo Ugg for finally making something the working woman can wear and still look stylish.

Love the style!! Uggs are not stylish but they are so cozy and warm. Well now they are looking much better and not as clunky. Love the raised heel which gives a little more support and cuter style. Order true size - don't size down like regular Uggs. These are my new fav, don't hesitate!

I originally ordered this style in a 7, even though I am a true 6½. I read some reviews that these shoes ran small. I have only owned one other style of Uggs in the past, the Brooks tall, and purchased a 6, which was perfect. Again, I heard about the size differences on that style so I listened to reviews and ordered down. The only reason I go on about this story is that when I was ordering the Kara boot, I worried it would be too small based on reviews saying how tight they ran; however, when the 7 arrived they were too big. I had to exchange for my normal size. I think the Karas are true to size to the T. Now if you have wide feet, these shoes are going to be tight. For narrow feet, like mine, these boots are perfect. I absolutely love them. They do not look big, flat, and stubby like the classic style (sorry). They are attractive, fitted, with a nice sole and very comfortable and I do not look like I am walking around in big clunky slippers. Plus, I could not resist owning a pair of Karas since Kara is my first name! It is a win.

I do have true medium width feet, but these boots were very narrow. Also there was something not right in the arch area of both feet. I believe it is due to the wedge, but it hurt me. The boots are really cute, the right height and just right in the width of the shaft. I am bummed! I have to return them and the next size (8) would be too loose, as my feet already slide up and down in the heel area.

Had to go up in size, as recommended by many other reviews. I actually find them more comfortable by the end of the day then Classic Uggs due to more arch support. Over all, a very nice take on a classic.

I was so happy to see this style from Ugg! As other shoppers mentioned it does run small. I am normally a 5.5/6 in boots and ordered a 6.5 they are snug and I'm not sure if they will stretch out. The Kara looks very nice! I'm on the fence as to whether or not I should order a 7 or give the 6.5's a try.

After years of everyday use, my wife's first pair of this style UGGs boots finally wore-out. I bought her the new version for her birthday, and she likes them even more than the original pair. They look great with just about anything. We would definitely buy them again.

I bought these Uggs for my tween. They are true to size. I got her the size 6 she normally wears and they fit perfectly. I love the wedge and how the style is more fitted than the Classic Tall. Now, I want a pair for myself!

I never have bought an Ugg boot because they were too wide (narrow feet and small calves) for me. These boots were cut narrower and fit me perfectly. I love the little heel and feel that are a bit more stylish, but still very comfortable. I forget there is a wedge heel while walking, I don't notice it at all. I wear only a thin sock with these because the sheep fluff is quite thick and warm. I suppose once the fluff is flattened out some I would be able to wear a thicker sock, but I don't feel the thicker sock is necessary because the boot is so warm. I've been wearing them to walk to the outdoor pool in 20 degree weather this winter and my tootsies were never cold, not even once.

I love these boots! They are so warm and cozy, even in 20 degree temps! I don’t want to take them off when I get home! I normally wear a 9.5 in most brands. I used to size down in Uggs,but these fit true to size. I ordered the 9.5 and 10 so I could compare. The 9.5 felt a little narrow in the toe are when I first tried them on, but the 10 felt just as narrow and too long. I’m very happy that I decided to keep the 9.5. They stretched a little after wearing them for a couple of weeks and now feel great in the width.

Based on reviews I ordered 1/2 size up. I should have ordered a full size up! They run short and very narrow - but I do have a wide foot - although I don’t wear size Wide. Other than the sizing issue, the style is great. They are very light, and fur is cozy like a slipper. They roll down too. I’ll wear them inside and hope they stretch. If not I’ll be sorry to send them back.

very stylish and comfortable! But this model is really a full size smaller than marked for me. I like that they are sort of multi functional being short and tall at the same time! Perfect for me

These ugg kara boots are exactly what I've been looking for. About 2" taller than the classic tall ugg boots; narrower toe box and shaft can be rolled down to display fluffy lining. I ordered normally fit a size 7 but ordered a size 7.5 so i can wear socks with them. From what I was told at my local boot store these boots won't stretch like the ckassic uggs with the rounded toe box. Love them and probably will be my favorites among my other ugg boots.

Just ordered the UGG KARA boots in the black and I am really looking forward to receiving them. Have seen them in person and I love the height of the shaft. It is taller than my classic tall ugh boots and I know I'll be wearing them alot. The higher heel is great since I am only 5'2" tall. The front part of the boot makes it look more dressy compared to the classic Uggs.I was told at one of my local boot stores that this is a new Ugg style. Love it!

Love these boots. Bought them for a trip to Scotland in March so I was looking for warmth, comfort and style. After reading other reviews, I went up a half size and am glad I did. I have worn them several times and they are comfortable for all-day wearing. As others have mentioned, these boots have a sleeker style. The raised heel adds to the overall style but also aids in comfortable walking.

I really like this particular pair of UGGs. The traditional UGGs made my feet looks so big and clunky. This style is slimmer and can be dressed up or down. So so very warm and cozy. I also bought the UGG care kit for them. Perfect for the winter??

These are the best cold weather boots ever! Super warm & cozy like you would expect from Ugg with a shape that looks more like a normal shoe instead of a typical Ugg. I usually wear a 7.5 and an 8 was perfect.

I've had several pairs of Uggs Classic and a pair of Baily Buttons and I loved them all. They were warm and wonderfully comfortable but each pair got ruined if they got wet. I love my Uggs so I am eager to try the Kara which is a lot less clunky looking than the tall classic, but has the same cushy feel (I wear them without socks as they are meant to be worn). They fit true-to-size. I can't yet speak for the water resistance provided by the pre-treat because the winter hasn't started, but the type of suede on shoe part looks like it will hold up better. Look forward to wearing them!

Comfy "slim looking" UGG boot. I didn't like the bulkiness of the regular uggs so these are perfect to wear with yoga pants to yoga or with skinny jeans. Love the LESS BULK! makes my leg look skinny too! always a plus!

These are the Uggs I've been waiting for! I've never been an Ugg fan or an Ugg wearer, with the exception of Ugg slippers which are amazing. I've found Uggs to be too flat, with no arch support. They always made me appear to have clown feet since I have a larger shoe size (size 9). These Uggs solve all of those problems and then some! They have a narrow toe box, which is slimming for those of us with big feet. There is considerably more arch support due to the platform sole. They are really comfortable even standing and walking in them all day, which was never the case with the traditional Ugg styles. The calf is also more narrow, bordering on too tight (I have a moderate size calf and never have found any boot to be tight on the calf before). Even with a few wearings, the calf stretched out a bit and now they fit comfortably. Comfortable, warm, stylish and flattering! Just what I've been waiting for. These run narrow and the toes are a bit tight at first. I'm a size 8.5/9 usually and bought a 9 in these. They fit but are snug; I expect them to stretch out a bit as Uggs usually do. Buy these!

I love these boots and have worn them daily since I got them. I like the slimmer look and the higher heel than regular Uggs. They keep my feet warm without being too sweaty. I walked through a puddle of icy water and both my feet stayed completely dry. I think that's partly why they're so expensive. They run a little small - I consistently wear a 7 and had to exchange the 7's for a 7.5.
