Awesome bag fits all my needs. All my coworkers compliment me on it's style and appearance. I work in design and manufacturing so I have an eye for construction and quality details. This bag is well constructed from the stitching to the riveting and quality materials used. Above all the bag comes with a lifetime warranty that can be redeemed locally at their SF location as I live in the SF Bay Area. Awesome job by the Timbuk2 team.

I love this messenger bag. I had originally bought the smaller size, and which fit everything I needed, but was bulging from the bulk. So, I bought its big brother, which although called a "medium" is much more like a "large". It has a great look, it's roomy, and its well built. I load it with all kinds of gear, and it has room for more! I carry a Microsoft Surface Pro 4, and it has plenty of space for a much larger laptop in the padded sleeve. Unlike some messenger bags, this has plenty of compartments to help organize your stuff, including two zippered ones, one inside, and one outside. This bag does it all, and looks good doing it!

I use the product to go to and from class. It has just enough room for my laptop, charger, a textbook, notebook and a candy bar. I get a compliment every time I use the bag. The leather buckles and fantastic, but seem to show wear.

This is a great bag that definitely ups my bike-commuting game. I have a Timbuk2 backpack that I love, but (as vain as it is) I hate carrying a backpack into a bar or to an event after work. I wanted a messenger bag that works well as a commuter and more stylish than most messenger bags. This is it. It's fairly roomy inside, but all the compartments and the bag itself are structured so there isn't a lot of wiggle room. I'm an organizer to a fault and this bag has lots of compartments and pockets for organizing. I do wish it had a water bottle pocket and a different waist strap (something a little quicker to snap on and off). Overall, though, this is a great stylish bag. Timbuk2 really pays attention to detail and creates some of the best bags on the market.

I have been using this bag daily for about a year now. Bought it because it is one of very, very few classy looking bags with a cross-strap for cycling. It might be the only true messenger bag not made from plastic. It looks good, the pocket layout is practial and it wears comfortably. A 13" laptop fits nicely and is easily accessible. The strange looking buckles are actually quite easy to use and work well. My big gripe with the bag is that all the straps are of very poor quality. The cross strap broke in the first week because a rivet was not properly set. The shoulder strap started losing its color after half a year and is now fraying at the edges. After one year i will have to get the straps replaced, which is unacceptable for such an expensive bag. The leather trim is also showing more wear than it should. For comparison, just to show that i am not putting undue stress on the bag. My previous messenger bag from an australian company has been used in the same way for 7 years and is only showing minimal wear. So Timbuk2, please fix the quality issues, use better materials, and you will have a seriously good bag.

Pros: - Looks good. - Comfortable Cons: - Tad small for 15" Mac Book Pro. It fits better now that the bag has broken in but the magnetic snaps do not fully close without manual fidgeting. - Construction quality is disappointing given the price. One of the rivets came apart after 4 months of use.

This messenger bag has been great! I'm able to put 2 laptops in there, 2 laptop chargers, a bunch of notepads, and a whole lot more. Super useful! Highly recommended!

As usual I am impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into Timbuk2 bags. After using the walker backpack for over a year, I decided to get this for my girlfriend for Christmas as she was starting a new job. The lighter color options were perfect for a more feminine look and she absolutely loves it/ uses it every day now. The hip straps to make the sometimes unwieldy nature of messenger bags less of an issue is a really nice addition and seems to dramatically improve the comfort for her. Highly recommend.

LOVE this bag! The gray and black were perfect for my husband's request for a dark messenger bag but also 'trendy'

I can fit my laptop and a notebook decently in the main pocket. Phone and accessories fit very well in the other pockets. Shoulder strap is perfect for me 6'4".

I've owned a lot of bags and this one is perfect. The waxed canvas is light and durable, and will acquire character with use. The leather trim dresses it up. The style of this bag goes with a hoodie or a suit. TB2 allows me to select the perfect size (in my case, small). I love being able to wear it across with a shoulder strap, or pick it up with the leather handle. It sits on the floor (although it could sit a bit better) without falling over in a heap. It has a zipper on the back (not a lot of TB2 bags do). It has the ideal combination for me of center compartment and pockets that are open and zippered. This one's a winner.

Have really enjoyed this lightweight bag. I use it as a daily bag for my Dell laptop and various accessories. I wouldn't be upset if there were additional compartments, but it also helps me streamline what I truly need. It does show wear on the charcoal color pretty easily (scratches and spots where I've cleaned with water), but does not affect the integrity of the bag.

I've had. Timbuk2 classic messenger bag for the past 8 years and have loved it. I finally needed a new one and wanted to get something a little nicer/ professional looking this time. This bag looks pretty nice and has enough space for what I need. The only bad part is that I misjudged how big this was ...so it seems really small in terms of overall bag size. My laptop fits and it will work, but compared to my previous messenger bag it is tiny and sort of looks like a handbag. If this was one size bigger it would be perfect. As is ...I'll keep it for now and replace.

I love this bag. It's the perfect combination of size, weight, strength, and style. The pockets are well placed, there is enough room, the material looks good. So, why only 4 stars? Well, after a year and a half of heavy use, the leather starts to delaminate. The leather on the flap and on the straps (that form the hooks). I sent it back, they fixed it (after some complaining). Well, I still love it so much that I bought a second one and will just have to send them back in sequence. Hint to Timbuk2, please stitch the leather on the flap and the hooks.

I use this bag every day for work, I carry my iPad, wallet, keys, and lunch in it because I prefer my pockets to be empty other than my phone. The only thing is, I was kind of disappointed with how it looked when I got it, I would say it looks significantly better in the photos online... the fabric on it collects dirt very easily when I put my bag down next to my desk, and it is also very annoying to open and close compared to other bags I have used in the past. Also the small pockets are so deep that sometimes I put my keys in there I am worried that I lost them because they're so deep in the pockets I have to double check to find them.

The bag looks great, and has a professional feel for the office. Got lots of compliments. But not much room to expand for amenities. I had a hard time closing it when I needed to add a few things like: a power supply for the computer, a medium size book, and a bottle of wine. Don't buy anything on the way home if you're riding. I can also see the leather "claps" wearing down quickly over time. The shoulder strap material is not on par for the price, and that's on sale. I'd be bummed if I paid full price. I like the utility and function of my classic messenger better, but it didn't fit the feel of a professional office. This is not a "weekend" carrier, unless you like extra luggage.

Received the bag with excitement, however to my disappointment, the bag arrived with some scratches on the leather, whilst the removable cross body strap was defective. The button of the strap was and then split apart, which meant that the whole strap cross body strap is not usable since it would not hold the strap in place. E mailed Customer Service, and their reply came 2 days later, asking for pictures as proof. Within 1 day, the pictures were taken and sent over, and now, one and a half weeks later, still no response. It's such a disappointment to know that the quality of the bag, the overall structure and build of the bag is superb, but the Customer Service response is disappointing. It's a huge disappointment and a waste of my time, because i'm not even able to give this bag as a gift now, as i initially intended to do so.
