This version 33 of Pegasus has better cushioning than the 32, especially the forefoot. However, the forefoot is shorter and narrower, not as good a fit for my feet. I really like the Zoom Structure 19's, and was looking for that fit but with slightly less arch support. The Structures have a slightly larger forefoot that fits me great. This is a sharp looking shoe as well, but the small forefoot is not right for me.

I really like these shoes. At first, the sole of the shoe felt uncomfortable, with there being a bulge around the ball of the foot. However, I realized that this was just some extra cushioning that, after the first run, seemed to level out and conform to the shape of my foot. So it felt different than the Pegasus 32 (which I love) at first, but I think I'm getting used to it. Overall a great, lightweight, form-fitting running shoe.

Sadly returned these. My son liked them a lot - they're far sturdier than the Nike Roche's that he's wearing now, and he liked the style and color. But they run quite narrow, which is an issue for the more 'constructed' Nikes. He has regular width feet, but it seems that regular for other brands really is a wide for Nike, and the 'cool' colors for teenage boys aren't available in wide widths. Bummer.

Great running shoe. Could use better color choices in the wider sizes, but overall a great choice - comfortable, supportive.

Great shoe. The toe box is a little narrow. Other than that it is a great and comfortable shoe.

Soft cushioned ride. Not very durable using on treadmill only, I not think they can handle the asphalt. I will be surprised to get 4-500 miles from them.

I have tried out a lot of different running shoes, but this one is the best and most comfortable. It provides good support for distance and is light enough that it doesn't drag you down. Would recommend for runners.

Be warned - the darker blue strings look purple in natural light.

I put in a lot of miles and am always frustrated when buying new shoes. I have narrow feet and have found that most suppliers are willing to keep wide widths in stock, but seldom carry narrow. Tried these on at a running store that is too far to drive from my house so I was excited that Zappos has the narrow widths in stock. Fast shipping and these shoes feel great.

I'm really disappointed in these shoes. They are very uncomfortable. I've tried switching the insoles with gel insoles, but that didn't improve them. I also exchanged them for a new pair from Zappos hoping the first pair were defective. The second pair were even more uncomfortable. The general problem is that the insoles are "lumpy". I like the style, but beyond that I feel Nike failed with this model of shoes.

While this shoe is the identical model of Nike I have worn for going on 10 years now, for some reason it is much more narrow then all of my past Zoom Pegasus pairs. When it arrived, I checked the tongue for the "XE" marking that signals a wide shoe, but could easily see that the sole was almost 3/4 inch more narrow. The actual shoe portion is a good quarter inch more narrow. I do not know why Nike shoes in wide sizes are becoming more narrow or that the wide sizes are becoming harder to find. For reference, I measured this shoe against another pair of Nikes I own that I barely wear but are the same 9.5 EE size, just in case it was my imagination combined with the eventual stretching of the shoes due to use. Confirmed, the shoe is 1/4 inch more narrow and the sole is 1/2 inch more narrow than my unused pair. I laid my bare feet against the sole and found no extra room for my wide profile. You are shrinking your shoes.

I have no idea because I have worn the same model shoe for over a decade.

Not comfortable. Seem to be getting better as work them in, but expected them to be comfortable immediately

They aren't bad looking shoes- very basic and they fit, but they somehow really strangle and suffocate my feet. Not breathable at all, I'm always rushing to take them off because my feet get very uncomfortable and hot. Nike should quit making these fish net type shoes, the material is poorly ventilated and tight.

I have worn Pegasus zoom for years but the new 33 has changed. It is much narrower and has a stiffer feel in the toe. After wearing them for two weeks my feet hurt so bad i can no longer tolerate them. Im feeling the pain particularly in the arch. putting in new orthotics did not help. Why cant Nike leave a good thing alone! Now I'm stuck with a new $100 shoe i cant wear or return. I still have an older pair i wear to mow the lawn which feel fine. I guess Ill give Asics a try.

I have bought and used Nike Pegasus for the last 20 years and always had great results with fit especially with the wide toe box on their wide shoes. The fit on these was much tighter (maybe 1/2 to 1 size smaller) and the toe box was significantly tight on a 4E. Very different than any other pair I've used to the point that I actually checked shoe size inside the shoe thinking that they were wrong size. They go back and now I need to find another equal. Hopefully they will resurrect the original get back to making a very popular shoe.
