I really wanted to like these boots, but they gave me a bruise on the top of my foot where the instep is. This only happened on my right foot, which is strange, because it is my left foot that is larger.

I bought these shoes in January of 2016. They still have their patina and townie look that was lost in another brand pretty early on and henceforth became garden boots. Shaye is a very structured boot and is well made. You won't have issues with the insole getting crumpled or losing integrity. That said, while they feel totally impermeable to rain and have an amazing tread and feel of security when walking on slippery surfaces, they are not as comfortable for long walks as other brands due to their stiffness in shock absorption and ankle mobility. Though the shafts are not insulated, they retain more warmth than the softer rubber brands.

I really love these boots! I work all through the year and I needed something stylish but comfy and the same time. Sometimes with rain boots you run into cute but too heavy or uncomfortable...with these not the case! I will say if you have thicker calves this boot may not work for you as there is no zipper closure or elastic at the top.

Love the boot but it felt a size larger. Order down a size. Shoe is made well, nice fleece insole. Cute for those nasty, rainy, monsoon days! I would order a smaller size but I think shaft would be too tight on my calves. This pair just fit so going down, I think it wouldn't work.

Excellent quality and arch support. Unlike Splendid rain boots it scarred back of my leg and is very difficult to get off. Never had this issue with Ugg
