After reading others reviews on sizing up I took that advice and went with a 9 instead of usual 8.5. Good thing as the 9 fit perfectly. These shoes are amazing. I'm a massage therapist and yoga teacher and have yet to find a great shoe that does not crunch the foot bones and has good arch support. But these are it! And very cute, replacing my converse with these. Took a few 1-2 mile walks in these and they were great from the start, no pain, blisters or issues to report. Will be sticking with the Taos brand for sure.

As a woman with a size 12 foot (yes, TWELVE) it is difficult to find shoes that are comfortable AND cute. But these fit the bill! I was squeezing my foot into a size 11 just so I could have cute sneakers, and paid the price with sore feet. Not anymore, friends! When I put these sneakers on, it felt like my feet were getting a HUG! I am a new Taos fan!!

Love these shoes. I now own 3 pairs of Taos. Would love to own every color. Very comfortable for this 3rd grade teacher.

I like the looks and the comfort, normally I wear 37 in Ecco brand , the rest of my shoes are 6.5 or 7 ( about half and half), I got this in a 7 regular and fit great

Zappos suggested that I buy a half size bigger (I'm typically a 9.5 and I bought a 10) and they were correct. I have VERY flat feet (I only have arches if I'm not touching the ground, otherwise it's all the way fallen) so usually with athleisure/casual shoes, I just take the bottoms out immediately after buying and put in an (expensive) insert and they live in the shoe. I don't think I'm going to even need to do that because the arch support is ah-MAH-zing. I'm used to inserts with no give whatsoever, so these are firm but a little bit cushy, so I'm very much feeling the cushy right now. That being said...socks are definitely necessary because I could see how the heels could rub. I'm writing this review after only one day of wearing them. I was a little hesitant about the $80 price, and I'm glad I went for them, but I think these are $60 shoes. Or maybe I have not kept up with inflation...

Ordered my usual athletic shoe size of 11 and they fit just fine...that's 1/2 size larger than my regular shoe size. I could use more supportive arch. Added a Dr School arch support they are fine. The removeable insole thickens at the heel elevating the heel 1/2", so adding arch support takes some trial & error to find the right combination. I like the styling for summer casuals without the heavy sole of athletic shoes. Wore comfortably all day on hardwood floors. No break-in required.

The shoe is comfortable, but on one of the shoes the fabric has a whole in it. I returned them and the second pair, you can see through the fabric. I am disappointed because I like the shoe.

I really wanted Converse, but can't wear them due to no arch support. I was super happy to find these shoes. They are cute and have great arch support. I wish there was more padding under the ball of the foot, but it doesn't bother me much. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. I did order a half size up as recommended and they fit perfectly! Thanks Taos!

LOVE THESE SHOES! They're very cute and comfortable. I agree with other reviews to order 1/2 size bigger than your normal size. The toe box narrows a bit. I love the charcoal color and style. I chose to remove the inserts and use my own for proper arch support. I generally wear very soft shoes, and found the canvas material to be a little stiff at first, but after a couple of weeks they softened up nicely. Just wanted to mention that the shoelaces will pick up some of the shoe dye, but this doesn't concern me in the least. I'm considering purchasing another pair soon!

Super cute and very comfy. I have narrow/medium width feet and these are not too wide.

I love Converse shoes, however since I have plantar fasciitis, I have to wear shoes with good arch support. I'm on my feet in hospitals and LTC facilities all day long which means walking on cement floors. I have spent a lot of money on different brands of shoes claiming to have arch support. They either did and were too old fashioned for my taste, or did not have enough arch support which made my heel hurt half way through the day. I can wear these all day without heel pain at the end of the day. I like the way they look too! I only wish they had more of the 8.5 available in the colors. I had to order the charcoal, which is more black, and I really wanted the khaki! Like all other reviews have stated, order a size up. I normally wear an 8 and I ordered an 8.5 and they fit fine. You have to order larger because of the removable insole.

I wear these to work most every day and I'm on my feet for at least 6 of my 8 hours. They are comfortable and I don't need to wear my orthotic arch supports with them. I go through a pair in about a year or a year and a half or so as they start to wear at the back of the ankle, inside where my big toe hits the top of the shoe. and in the sole area under my toes. I wear my usual size - didn't need to size up or down. I love them as I can wear most anything with them - jeans, leggings, a dress, etc. I wouldn't wear them for exercise or running, but they're great for every day. They are very comfortable and look nice.

Believe the reviews that say to size up. I thought the wide width would be okay, but the toe box on my usual size was too narrow.

I currently have a 7 /1/2 in these sneakers so I purchased another 7 /12 in a different color and it was very small. I returned it for an 8 and that was extremely to big. Not sure what the issue is, but I'm really disappointed because I love the pair I currently have.

I returned them only because I needed a bit more of a rounded toe style

Nice looking shoes. Great arch support. Would have kept them except the material over the toe area is very stiff - my toes were rubbing against it with just walking across the carpet.

I like this shoe's baseball-style design but wish the heel cup was cushioned to relieve plantar fasciitis problems. I have to add gel inserts to be comfortable since the heel is very firm.

Love style but not comfortable. Just doesn't fit my foot correctly. Cute otherwise.

I prefer the Taos Moc Star to this style. Both are nice but Moc Star was a bit roomier and less stiff.

I so wanted to love these but, the soles are kind of stiff, causing them to slip in my heel. I know it was only a matter of time til I had blisters. They are really cute, though. Nice arch support.

All was great except arch support hard and hurt my foot.

I wear ankle braces and was so happy that these fit with the brace. I thought I was going to keep them but I tried them on a second time and decided they were NOT comfortable. The insoles are hard and one arch started to hurt. Very disappointed as they were just what I wanted, An ALL white sneaker with a removable insole.
