Extremely uncomfortable for my wide feet and morton's neuroma

I bought these shoes in 8.5 W. And they fit perfectly. I have a C width foot, I hesitated as often the M width works, but not for most Taos closed toe shoes. These shoes are for to wear strictly indoors. I understand that there is not a thick and cushioned sole. I don’t need one while inside. I needed a shoe that will fit and stay on my foot with a torn ankle ligament. These shoes are stable, and lace up high to support my injured foot. Thank you Taos. Do please make more of your shoes in Wide width.

Looks like a good shoe, but I have a high instep and this caused pain. I was hoping it would fit. As to comfort, the insoles look very supportive.

I love this shoe, have worn this style for many years and have it in a variety of colors. I can wear it all day and my feet are happy - even when sight-seeing. I receive compliments from people of all ages when wearing these sneakers.

The length of these attractive sneakers are perfect. I did order wide & they still irritated my bunion. I removed the insert which are nice & thick & changed to one not as thick & I think it’s going to work. I hope so because I’m a 9 1/2 wide & usually don’t look so good by the time they get that long. These look wonderful & I feel very stylish!!

The arch is slightly forward of my natural arch, but I find it quite comfortable and supportive in this position. Very durable and attractive.

These shoes are well made, and felt true to width, with good arch support, but the pointed toe shape felt mildly uncomfortable, and I have narrow feet.... Too bad, becuase the arch support is very close to Birkenstocks and really wonderful, but the pointed toe shape of Taos shoes isn't. I ended up buying barefoot shoes from another company which will have more room for my toes.

Really cute with good support just too narrow at the toe box even with the wide. I ordered up a half size as recommended and the length seemed ok. Had to return.

This is my 3rd pair of these, so I know that I need to order a 1/2 to full size up. I love that I can put them on right out of the box and put in a full day.

These are terrific sneakers! Haven't bought any sneakers in years because of lack of support. I usually have to put orthotics in everything but not these Taos sneakers. They even make my size 10 feet look good! It's a miracle. I finally decided that since they were on sale for a great price to give them a try. Good decision on my part. One caveat: I usually wear a 10 but ordered a 10 1/2 because of reviews. They fit perfectly. Thanks to all the people who wrote accurate reviews.

I love these shoes. They look cute with jeans or denim shorts. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted about 2 1/2 years and then I wore through the heel like I do with a lot of my shoes. The sole is not very thick, but I like the fact that this sneaker is not too heavy. Recently, I've returned many other brands with inadequate arch support. These have just enough that I'm comfortable wearing them all day.

Reviews commented to order a size larger, so I did... it was too large. I re-ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. They are a casual shoe (not a running shoe) and need some breaking in. But I feel they have great foot bed support and are well designed. They are good looking and supportive. Happy with my purchase.

Size up for room for your toes! I went up a whole size. Love these.

This is not my first pair of Taos shoes. I always order 1/2 size up, or 39 for 81/2. Good arch support, with removable insole (I always keep it in). I’m a walker,and these shoes are perfect! Also can be used to dress up jeans a bit.

My wife is an elementary school teacher and is on her feet all day. She often comments that she gets over 10,000 steps a day just in the classroom. Anyway, she loves these shoes and has bought them from Zappos before. I happen to be looking at her old shoes and noticed how worn they were and looked here on Zappos and noticed a couple styles were on sale that she absolutely loved and handed my phone to her. So she picked out a couple and bought them. I can’t believe how fast Zappos sent these shoes to us! I mean, come on people, are you reading my mind? Did you send the package before I even clicked on it to buy? I love you store and my wife loves the shoes

I go between a 9.5 and a 10. Taos seem shorter than other brands, so I went with 10. Arch support felt great. My only issue was they are as cute as I'd like for a sneaker to wear with trousers. The sole seems very thin, so I'm going to look through Taos for something with a chunkier sole.

These are great casual sneakers. I have bad feet (flat feet, plantar fasciitis, and a tailors bunion) so shoes are very challenging to find. These have excellent arch support so much so that I don’t have to use my orthotics in them. I did order up as per other reviews and I am happy with the fit (usually buy 7.5, ordered 8). Width was spot on. Only gave 4 stars for comfort as the sole is more firm than an athletic sneaker and probably will have sore feet after a long day in them. Not a reason not to buy though. Excellent stylish sneaker.

This is my second pair of Taos sneakers. I just love that I don’t have to break them in. So comfy for a teacher that is on her feet all day!!!

The shoes fit perfectly with good arch support. I usually wear orthotics, but not sure if I will need them. I love the black plaid; so glad there was a pair in my size!
