I got the charcoal color and it’s just what I thought it would be. Support is very good, it’s a bit wide, I’ve had to tie it tighter to compensate. It’s a substantial shoe, it’s not a skimpy sneaker at all. The arch support is great but it makes the shoe look larger and it’s not flexible right where the arch support is. But that’s ok, you get great comfort and support.

Bought these based on reviews that I read. Needed a wide, comfortable, supportive travel shoe. I followed the suggestions of others and ordered a full size up - length is perfect. Normally wear an 8.5 ordered a 9.5. I’ve worn them all day for three days now - happy feet. They’re perfect and the wide width accommodates a bunion. The arch support is perfect for my extremely high arch - a rare find in a shoe for me. My grown kids now think I’m a cool retired mom.

I love, love, love these shoes! I'm on my 3rd pair because I wear them daily. I have a very high arch so I'm obsessed with arch support in shoes and trying to find stylish shoes that give me the support I need. They're great for walking around touring new places, everyday wear, etc. and are stylish enough for everyday wandering. I have always ordered a half size up (I'm normally a 9 and always order a 9 1/2 in these) and have been pleased with the comfort. One time, I decided to order a 9 and see if they would stretch out and paid a terrible price with almost instant rubbed raw areas on the back of my heels where the top of the shoe hits. Awful. But a half size up is always perfect and comfortable so take everyone's advice and order up.

I loved the plaid design of the sneakers. I followed recommendations on the reviews and ordered 1/2 size up. I also require a wide width. I ordered 9.5W and I was pleased with the sizing. There was plenty of room in the toe box for length and width. The arch support is fabulous. And they're so dang cute! There was just something about the fit that caused me to constantly be aware that I had the sneakers on. Maybe I had them tied too tightly. I chose to return because at 71, I no longer wear shoes that aggravate my feet. However, I do highly recommend these sneakers.

I bought these for my 8th grade daughter who has problem feet and needs a supportive arch. She loves them and has worn them to school nearly every day since she got them-she says they are very comfortable and also cute/stylish.

You read reviews, you order the shoes, rarely is your experience the same as the reviews. NOT WITH THESE SHOES. Right out of the box super comfy and no break in required. Yes first fit seems tight , you just needs to adjust the laces. Once the shoes were on my feet my feet were happy. I would recommend and I will buy another pair.

If you have high arches these are the shoes for you. Order up 1/2 size. I needed 7 1/2 in these for the first time ever. I have always worn 7. These are very cute on and so comfortable. The Taos brand does a great job of merging support and attractive styles They May cost more than other brands with a similar look but your feet are worth it.

Wow! These are very comfortable and the plaid pattern is very funky and fashionable. I highly recommend these shoes. Perfect to run around the city in.

I love these shoes! I bought for a trip I would be doing a ton of walking on. I bought 8.5 wide and there is still room. I originally bought a 9 since everyone said to size up but had to return for my normal size.

These cute sneakers are the only ones I've found that provide adequate arch support for my high arches. I can wear them all day with total comfort. This is my second pair of Taos Star sneakers. The one and only thing I don't care for are the white laces with the washed charcoal color, but I can buy black laces separately.

I normally wear a 9 in shoes but I did go up a half size in these and I am glad I did. The canvas is very stiff but it doesn’t cause any discomfort while wearing. The arch support is fabulous. I have plantar fasciitis and with these, there is no pain while wearing or the next day.

Excellent shoe for walking comfort and style.

I ordered the Taos Star and Star Burst. The Star was much more comfortable. They were less stiff and had a lower arch support, but still offered support. There was no need to break them in. I am a teacher and have worn then twice already and both times they did not rub or cause my feet to ache.

These are more comfortable than my regular tennis shoes! I can stand and walk for hours comfortably. They are cute and durable. Amazing arch support. My new go to casual shoe.

This is my third pair of this shoe. Love them! I have high arches and these are the most comfortable shoes I have. I stand all day and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I do wear a larger size than normal.

I usually wear a 6.5 in sneakers,and 6 in shoes. Ordered 6.5 wide,and they fit perfectly. Don’t think they would be good for long distances, but they were great for a evening of shopping,and stopping for a bite to eat. Really cute,and looked good with leggings.

This is my third pair of these shoes in different colors. They're extraordinarily comfortable while being stylish. I would suggest buying half size up, which is what I've done. I have a bunion on one foot and this style makes an all-day walk comfortable. They don't seem to look dirty after all day walking in a city environment. I'm sure I'll be buying more colors!

I normally wear a size 5.5-6. Taos feels a little snug at a size 6 so I tried a size 6 wide and it is perfect! Not at all too wide just perfect! I only wish they carried more styles in the 6 wide.

I am usually a 10 but I have a hard time fitting into sneaker styles like this because I have wide feet so I ordered a 10.5 wide and they fit great. I think these do run a bit small, but are pretty similar to other styles as far as width goes. The support is good for casual wear and they're super cute and simply styled! They go with everything and I really like them overall.

I usually wear a 7 1/2 to 8 shoe. Since reviewers were recommending sizing up, I ordered an 8. The tips of my toes touched so I re-ordered an 8 1/2. Fit perfectly! Inside seams are smoothly finished to accommodate barefoot wear!
