I loved the shoe when I put it on. I do think it is a 1/2 size small. Hard to tell with my diabetic feet. My biggest concern is the tongue doesn't cover my foot. You can see my white sock. The tongue is folded under on both the green and black pair I have tried on. Normally I wear a 12N.

Great shoes for long distance runners with a neutral stride & looking for moderate cushion. Great zero drop shoes. I'm on my 3rd pair. I feel these are a bit sturdier than the previous model which is good because my only complaint about those was the soles didn't hold up to a lot of mileage.

Fit true to size! Don't believe other reviews. I wore an 8 in Asics and the 8 fit me just fine in Altra. The 8.5's were too big.

Excellent cushioning for a zero drop shoe. This style does run a little shorter so you might want to consider going up a half size to ensure you have enough wiggle room for your toes.

This is my third pair of Altra Intuition 3.5. I have had foot problems for years and this is a shoe I can wear all day with comfort! The zero gravity feature is very comfortable and the round toe box really helps with long days. They do run small-I buy a half size up. While they are a casual shoe the lines are interesting and I wear them all over town, as well as for walking the dog!

Comfortable from the get-go, with a really natural feel.

I have had some pain in my metatarsals and thought maybe this could alleviate some of it. I already, after only one walk, feel a difference. They are a little different and they say to give it a while to get used to them but I needed no adjustment period. They are a very stable, comfortable shoe. I have high arches or I would have given a better arch review, but I wear orthotics.

I love this shoe company!!! This is my 3rd pair. I walked 50,000 steps in 2 days at Walt Disney World with no break in period and no blisters. Yes, my feet were still tired...whose wouldn't be walking that many steps in 2 days. But, without these wonderful shoes, I would've been in agony! 3 things I like most: the natural toe box! very lightweight! yummy cushioning! I will be a forever fan! Please don't try to fix what's perfect already Altra!

Loved them from the minute I put them on and walked around the zoo that same night. Arrived so quickly. Comfy and look great!

I'm not a runner, but walking in these shoes is great. This is my second pair. I had a pair previously to help with a weak ankle. It was so much better than "regular" walking/running shoes. I agree with the reviewer who mentioned that the tongue edges fold under - when that happens you can see your white sock show through. Can't say if this is a new issue as my old pair was white. It's not a deal breaker - I just have to be aware when I'm putting them on.

The Intuition has been a favorite of mine for quite a while. The shoe has done some changing over the years but I still love it! It's like my Goldilocks shoe: not too much cushion but not too little either. I use it for anything from running 3 miles to 10 miles. Anything more than that I usually will wear the Altra Torin. I also like the Intuition for the gym and cross training as well. The foot-shaped toe-box is so comfy!

I love these shoes! However, the 9 is too big and the 8½ is too short so I have to return them. I have a pair that I bought 1½ years ago and they are perfect - I really wish that they had not changed the way they size their shoes!

I am so impressed with these shoes! They are cushioned and they are light weight! That is perfection. The toe box is wide and makes my toes so happy. The cushioning is perfect for the long run and the light weight is perfect for the speed workout. I would say they are perfect for just about any kind of run.

A good minimalist show with some extra cushion. Lots of toe splay room. I would like it if they were a little more durable.

Got these to replace aging Altra Ones. Great for walking - noticeably stiffer & more cushioned while still zero-drop, and the outsole looks more durable than the One for roads. Looks-wise, they're funky enough to be an everyday street shoe. However, as soon as I started running, there was an odd rubbing at both big toes. I think it's due to design differences (compare the very front of the One's upper vs. the Intuition). It's going down slightly with more mileage, but it was very surprising. If not for that issue, I'd give 5 stars and full thumbs up all around.

I loved these sneakers at first. I have struggled with a stress fracture of the second metatarsal. No fun. About a month into owning these I developed bursitis under my foot. I have never had that before. I stopped wearing the sneakers and it went away. So I would say stay away from these if you have any foot issues. They are super dorky looking...and really I don't care when I'm walking around but if you do care they are weird looking.

Altra how could you do this to me?? This was my 6th pair. I usually take an 11 in Altras and I love them because of the wide toe box which accommodates my foot wearing Correct Toes toe spacers. They have shortened the shoe and made it narrower. I compared the insole of this one with one of the pairs from last year and this insole is both shorter and narrower. Thank goodness I ordered from Zappos because the returns are easy.

Unfortunately, Altra seems to have changed the shape of their shoe. Previous size 9's have fit perfect, but this size 9 was shorter and pinched my toes.

The cushioning was comfortable but there was not enough arch support. It felt like the shoes were making my feet pronate more than usual.

This shoe runs extremely small. Mostly I wear a size 7-- very rarely a 7.5 (only in some boots and my running shoes to have extra room) and this shoe is a 7.5 and my toes were jammed up against the toe box. It's also a lightweight shoe, however, there's virtually ZERO traction on the bottom, so forget using this shoe in any sort of weather or on trails. I found the reviews on this shoe to be rather misleading.

Went up a size from previous purchase, toe box still too narrow compared to original version. Not very consistent in size from one version to the next. Very disappointed as I have been wearing Altra's since they first came out. I have to switch brands due to issues with the new sizing.

These shoes just aren't as good as advertised. Although I do feel the toe bed is nice and spacious and the heel does seem to put my pelvis in proper alignment my feet do NOT like them. After a couple months of using them I keep wishing they would wear out so I could replace them with something else. I get multiple hot spots on the soles of my feet and even after two months this continues. They have almost no support. I use orthotics but I still feel like they have no support.
