Many Rockport reviews said sizing runs large and that customers ordered up to full sizes smaller in order to get the right fit. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than my normal but it was too tight. The shoe styling is timeless and lovely without being ridiculously high.

When I saw these shoes I was truly excited because the padding inside looks like a sneaker but the shoe itself is just not comfortable. I ordered several styles of Rockport - so I am not going to write a review for each - thinking maybe they would feel differently but they all had the same deficit. I am comparing these to the ECCO Sculptured Shape 45 which feels so good I have ordered 6 pairs - yes SIX so I will have them for many years to come. I am on my feet almost all day in a suit so I need something stylish and not sadistic because after a long day on my feet I go home to walk or workout and cannot afford to have aching feet. I gave them 3 stars because you should try them given Zappos' shipping/returns policy. YOU might like them...

This shoe has lovely, timeless styling without the ridiculous heel height of some pumps. I find them very comfortable, stable, and true to size. I first ordered in a size 5 after reading many reviews that said sizing runs a size large. However, the 5 was quite tight and my usual 5-1/2 fit just fine.

I ordered this shoe in a half size down from my normal based on other reviews, but it ended up being a bit too small on me after all. Should have ordered it in my true size! These things are so hard to predict. The shoe is a classic black pump that seemed like it would otherwise have been comfortable and are really classy and stylish.

These are beautiful shoes and very comfortable heels. I bought them in case I needed a pair of plain black pumps. I never wore them, and recently broke my ankle on ice; unlikely I will wear heels in the future, so sorry, so returning them.

Beautiful pump with a little toe platform that makes the heel feel not so high. Toe shape much prettier and more flattering than the Total Motion Plain Pump, and lower heel more comfortable. I like the Rockport/ Adidas technology, I wear Adidas runners. These are slightly too large (11M), will have to put a sneaker liner in the toe, but 10 too small and 10.5 not available in this style. Really nice shoe for dressy occasions.

Shoes looks nice and well made. Unfortunately, run small and way too narrow (I have ordered wide).

I liked the feel but they are too big. Going to return and try smaller size. Hopefully they will work.

This is the second pair of these I have purchased...so I guess that says how much I like them. The style is very classic. I have a wide foot 9w and these are very comfortable and don't rub or pinch anywhere.

I like the overall look of the shoe. The sizing was definitely off. It was almost a size and a half too large. Will not reorder in smaller size because I found another shoe that works better.

It's a beautiful shoe, but unfortunately I have to return it. I wore it around the house to see how it fit. At first I was excited, as it seemed to fit well. Then after a little time, my foot kept slipping forward in it. I tried a non-slip cushion to keep it from slipping and also a heel pad, with no luck, only pain. I wish it would have worked out. Again, it's a very nice shoe--it just doesn't work for my foot.

These shoes had a great footbed (super soft) and sole (almost like a running shoe). I would have loved to have kept them but they were too narrow, pinching my little toe. Sad to have to return them.

Like the shoe but they hurt my bunions

These may be the most comfortable heels I have ever worn! Classic style and easy to wear all day. Definitely a keeper.

Shoe is very comfortable but slightly narrower through toe box than what I was hoping. I’m slowly breaking them in and think because they’re leather that they will be fine. Overall a very comfortable and classic looking shoe.

I really like this no-nonsense shoe. I read the reviews indicating that the shoe size ran slightly large, so I ordered a half size down. Too tight in the toe box to accommodate my bunion. Returned that pair and ordered my normal size. Too large, with the heel slipping. So, unfortunately this shoe wasn't made for me.

Very pretty and supporting shoes. Usually a 6M but had to exchange to 6W. Narrower than other 6Ms.

The shoe is cute but unfortunately was not as comfortable as I was hoping it to be.

The wide was too wide but the med was too narrow. Nice looking shoe but just did not fit my feet well. Returning.

I bought these shoes because they are supposed to be good for feet with bunions. Well, I'll never find that out because I can't get past how much they look like old lady shoes and have to return them. I thought that pumps were just pumps, but I was wrong.

Perfect vamp coverage. Felt narrow on toes and although it has padding on ball of foot, it felt hard.

I have really picky feet. Wide with bunions, I have a hard time finding dress shoes that don't hurt from the minute I put them on my feet. These are nice looking shoes, but they just don't fit. With most brands I do fine with either 8.5W or 9W. The 9W felt too short and too narrow. So these are going back.
