These are cute shoes but there are a few problems: The color pictured is orange, not red! Still cute. Then there are the ties - they are VERY long and could get in your way or trip you if not tied carefully. The shoe was wide and comfortable - perhaps even a little too wide when laced as tightly as possible, but I leave that up to you. Going back.

Very cute shoe. I did get some rubbing near toe and heel areas the first time I wore these, but my wonky feet always need adjustment time. I would have gone with all "5's" if shoes had more arch padding.

good looking shoe - blue is unique color very comfortable but only came in medium width, but seems like material has some give & will break in/stretch a bit so will not be a big problem

Cute shoes, although I'm not a big fan of shoelaces, but the heel rides up and down in the back while walking. It's a blister waiting to happen.

Oh I wanted to love them...they're adorable. But alas they just didn't fit like other Earth shoes. I really wanted something with a negative heel to help support my feet. A great feature of the shoe is that you can expand the width. However, I found the shoe to run short lengthwise.

I think these gillies would be cute with pants but they felt too shoe-like for summer. Also, the color is an odd shade of turquoise that I thought would be difficult to style. They do seem comfortable and I can see them working well on a cruise or other excursion laden vacation that required a fair amount of walking. The laces make them easy to adjust for comfort.

The opening for these shoes/sandals is very wide making for a loose overall fit. It feels like it would be all too easy to walk out of these shoes, even tightly laced. And the front strap rubs painfully against my big toe. Had to return, but they were cute!

Ended up having a problem with these shoes, where (I guess) the treatment wasn't the same for both shoes. Was caught in the rain one day, and one shoe is now a ding brown, while the other one was normal. Would really like them to both be the same!! Disappointed. The left shoe in the picture is the one that got the short-end of the stick. Don't be fooled, it looks much worse in natural light. They also get a bit... sticky when wearing without socks, which of course you will be.

This shoe is very cute and I was tempted to keep it but didn't for two issues. The top laced all the way closed which surprised me since I have a very high arch. It was fine for now, but once the leather started to stretch (as is normal) the laces wouldn't have closed it anymore. The two sides would have overlapped on the top. Second, the toe opening rubbed on my toes and I just figured I'd get annoyed, if not chafed, after a little while.

This is a well made shoe but wow did it look frumpy on my foot. I got the beige color and hated the way it looked. I do have wide feet and ankles and this shoe just accented that even more. It felt pretty comfortable and did have some padding in it for support but it may not be enough for some people or for hours of walking. I think this shoe would look best on someone with slender feet, ankles and calves. Maybe the black would be better than the beige. I read where another reviewer said it looked like an "old lady" shoe in the beige color and I agree 100%.

The sole of the shoe is very soft and comfortable. But, the shoe seems very wide, and I had to pull the laces as tight as they could possibly be to keep them from being loose and floppy. They also came up very high on my ankles, too high to be comfortable. Unfortunately they have to go back.

So sad these did not work out for me. I, by no means have a narrow foo. They where to wide for me. I have other earth dress shoes with no problem in fit. They probably would have been very comfortable.

These are comfortable for sure but look like something my 80 year old mother would wear. My feet are medium width so the 2 sides pretty much meet in the middle leaving you with a RIDICULOUSLY long shoe lace. Maybe good if your foot is wide. Not for me.

These are really cute shoes but the leather is just a little stiff for my tender feet. I had ordered another pair of sandals from zappos and I'm keeping those instead. Thanks for the great customer service zappos!

These shoes are comfy and stable. The arch support is far less than I expected. These are made for a wide thick foot. But they do accommodate full orthotics so it works out for me. I have a low profile foot.

Too large around instep if you have a low arch. Can't tie laces without the sides overlapping. A narrower size would be too narrow in the toe-box.

Seriously good reviewers? How do you figure? The back of these was so high and stiff! Other than that, they were comfy.

These were just too orthopedic looking for me in the black. But if you're after something that is essentially a sneaker/sandal, these might just work. I'd also note that even though I have "medium" width feet for most shoes, with these, even when I laced them as tightly as I could, the top of the shoe was loose (though the sole fit fine. So it's not exactly that they run wide, but that they seem to want a meatier foot or a higher instep.

Loved style of shoe sandal w foot coverage. I have a narrow foot, the tie cinch would not tighten enough on my foot. This caused my foot to scoot around inside of shoe. In addition when walking, the leather at the the toe rubbed just below my big toe nail causing pain/blister. So am returning shoes.
