I'm another one with miserable to fit feet; very high instep, very wide, and a bunion. Curses. I wear Crocs to work, and mostly Birkenstocks or Sanuks otherwise, but at 61 I found myself needing a real pair of adult lady shoes. Black suede sandals in SoCal will go with dresses, slacks, jeans, skirts. Cute 2" cone heel is stylish but uber comfy, even for someone like me who gave up heels 40 years ago. Flexy sole moves easily with you and is secure, elastic over the instep is great for the cursed high instep, the cushy sole is wonderful, and the sturdy Velcro heel strap allows for a custom fit. My only issue was that I'm so out of practice ordering wide shoes that I ordered too large; so wound up with a full size smaller than normal because of the WW width. As always, Zappos gave lightening fast delivery and easy returns. My SO asked if they were comfy, and when I said yes, he said "well don't return them, they're really cute!"

I had to order these in a 6W even tho I am really a 5.5 W. If my feet were truly a 6, these would have been perfect! Loved the look, the comfort, and the wide width for my short, wide, feet.

This is the second pair I’m returning but 3rd time will work right. I still love them as soon as I’m refunded I will purchase a different size.

These shoes are super comfortable. I felt like I was walking around in slippers. I got the 71/2 wide and it was perfect . No need to break in even.With this great price I paid I may keep them but they lean more toward a light burgundy and I definitely needed red. So it said red and I couldn’t tell from the photos. Zappos customer service is the best ever! Somehow they got returned back to them and when this happened I got an additional $15 off to re-order them. So I just have to keep them. But if you need red, this isn’t your color. But a great deal for me

I wear an 8WW and ordered a half size up on this shoe because I haven't worn the brand before and knew that a half size up wouldn't make too much difference in the fit. I was correct (I could just as well have worn an 8WW). The shoe fits perfectly; there are elastic straps on top of the foot that make the fit conform to the foot. LOVE the Velcro strap, rather than a buckle; making it much easier to get on and off quickly. I gave only (3) stars in the comfort area due to no padding or support. I bought cushioned inserts and believe they will make a big difference. The brushed fabric is good looking. Hope this helps.

If you want an awesome looking sandal, here it is! I'm picky when it comes to comfort and am drawn to Danskos and Allegria. The thought of 10 hours in these shoes didn't sit well with me because there isn't much padding in the front of the foot.

These were just a little bit large for me, but that's been known to happen - sometimes it turns out that I need a 6 3/4, B & 1/2. Will be trying a size 6.5 to see if that works, because they're really cute shoes!

The style of this shoe is very close to the more expensive one that it mimics, and generally it's very comfortable. Two reasons I gave these four stars: the color is a kind of dull red, it looks brighter in the photo. And wearing them today for the first time, with a little bit of walking, I got a blister on my fourth toe. The inside material could be softer and more forgiving. Hopefully this won't happen every time I wear them, but I'll probably put a little bandaid on just in case.

These are supposed to have memory foam in them but they don't. However, they are sufficiently wide to accommodate extra padding, whether custom orthotic or off the shelf Dr. Scholl's.

These fit pretty well. I'm a 7 EE but my pinky toe did rub on the inside of both shoes. I was able to wear them longer than most other heels. They are very cute, I did get compliments, but ended up have to take them off after about 3 hours. The material wasn't stiff, I think someone with a narrower foot could wear these longer.

Very comfortable when I tried them on and walked around inside. Did not care for the foil suede effect on the color I chose; I found it to be too glittery.

More of a shoe than sandal. It felt too hot and constrictive for the summer climate. Comfortable enough.

Great shoes but sadly it cut across the toes on my left foot so badly, they will have to go back. The heel height is nice for work. Found a similar pair by Trotters that does not cut my toes..so happiness abounds!

I personally thought the straps all the way up made my ankles look chubby. My toes barely made it to the front little peep hole, which did not improve the look.

These were really cute shoes. The ability to adjust the back with velcro helped them hug my narrow heel. I ordered these with several other shoes and I found I like the higher heels better and they weren't different enough from the others I was keeping to not return them.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got these shoes but I think I may have to return them. I have a narrow foot and my foot flopped around in the shoe. They are very comfortable and look great so I'm hoping a half size smaller will do the trick.

I really liked this shoe, but it just wasn't wide enough for me. It definitely didn't feel like a EE in width. I was very disappointed. It's hard finding cute shoes when you have wider feet.

They are comfy, the red is perfection and a gentleman told me he liked my shoes as he held the door open for me. And I'm over 65! They do look a bit "old Lady" but I'm not sure why. I live in a very rural area with lots of dirt roads, rocks and rough pavement and they feel sturdy without looking like I'm wearing anything clunky!

Love the style of these shoes - and foot bed is very soft and comfy, and the wheel is a comfortable height. . Unfortunately, the shoe is just too wide for my exceedingly narrow foot. Had never tried the Captiva brand, and ordered three different sales... and while all were comfy and cute, they all ran a bigger wider than I hoped :( So back they go!

Comfy inner sole. Pinch my bunions a bit but I'm keeping the shoes to wear on an upcoming cruise. I like the heel height and the fit except for the bunion pinch. I think I can use a pad to take care of that issue. Great looking on foot.

These looked great, but my usual size wastoo big.

These are the cutest shoes, but run wide across the top of the shoe. I ordered a N, which is what I normally wear, and they stood away from my foot on the top and sides. Hate to return.

Cute shoe, but runs wide. I ordered a 7N and it was way too wide and that made the shoe wobbly. Had to return.

Cute and comfortable. I am looking forward to using them with dresses or casually.
