This is a great 3 in 1 bag - perfect for biking around town to pick up a few items while still looking fashionable.

I was looking for a convertible backpack/tote. This its the bill perfectly. I ordered both this and the Timbuk2 Alamo, but this won out for comfort, a better tote handle, and a shoulder strap. It's not a massive bag, but that was perfect for me -- I need something I can carry my laptop in with or without my regular purse. It fits my laptop, a bento box for lunch, keys, wallet, and light scarf/sweater.

I found this bag at the last possible minute before a trip and am SO happy I did! I wanted a good purse carryon for the plane that could also be a daypack/purse on my trip. This bag is everything! I used it equally as a crossbody and backpack and was grateful for the opportunity to switch back and forth in the same bag. I love everything about it and the only tiny thing I would change would be to put elastic on the side pocket so it would be easier to get my water bottle in, but my Klean Kanteen does fit so the bag works great for my needs!

Great business travel bag! I have been looking for a backpack with a padded laptop compartment and a luggage pass through pocket on the back. The bag fits perfectly on my rolling suitcase. The backpack straps are comfortable. As a bonus, it turns into two types of stylish totes that can be used to go to meetings once you get to your destination. The two front pockets provide easy access to cell phone, wallet, book, snack for the plane. The roomy interior has room for an extra jacket or meeting materials. I have had so many compliments on this bag (and think that I have sold several people to purchase it) because it is so unique and stylish! I have the Ash color, but also comes in black and birch so would work for males or females.

I recently got this bag to use as a diaper bag. It is comfortable an stylish and has all the right pockets for baby gear. Inside there are spots for wipes and diapers, and extra set of clothes, a bottle and more. On the outside there is another water/baby bottle pocket and 2 good size zip pockets for my wallet, keys, and small baby necessities. It is the perfect size. I love the back pack straps for longer outings and also the shoulder strap and top handle straps for a quick run into a store. Perfect diaper bag!

I got this backpack a couple of weeks ago, and I just love it! I teach preschool and recently had an all day field trip. I had to pack several things for myself and the children. This bag fit it all! It has many compartments and 3 ways to carry. It's super comfortable, sturdy, and easy to clean. Great find!

I love this bag! I bought this bag because I needed a versatile bag that could be used for both work and play. This bag is perfect for both. I use it for work as it easily stores my lap top in the padded pocket inside. I also love the outside pockets. I use the smaller pocket on the bottom for my cell phone and keys and the larger one for my wallet and small note pad. This bag makes it so easy to stay organized. I also have used it just for a day out. I am able to put a change of clothes, shoes, and other essentials. I love the option of wearing it as a back pack. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a bag that meets multiple needs.

Best multi-use bag! All the pockets on this bag make it my go-to for everything! Love to use as a backpack or cross body when my hands are full, or a tote when I am just out and about! No matter how much I put in this bag, and it has been a lot at times, it has fit it all and never seems to get bulky or heavy. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone for any use! Tons of compliments on the look and style too! You will not be sorry with this purchase!

I'm so happy with this bag. I bought it for work - I'm a teacher. It's got a padded laptop pocket and has plenty of room for hauling home all of my other paperwork and necessities. I use the zipper pockets on the outside as a purse - keys in the bottom and my wallet and phone fit into the top. It's great for work but could be used for anything really. It's such a versatile shape and size and the colors go with anything. I've used the backpack straps and really like that they tuck in for when I don't need them. I've mostly used the long cross-body strap but its nice to just grab the handles too.

Great bag! What I love most about it is that it can be a backpack or a cross body or a shoulder bag. Handstraps too, but I wouldn't use those! I don't always love to use a backpack, but I love that the option is there. Even better, the backpack straps can be hidden into this back compartment. Genius. Sherpani thinks of all your things, and of course there are pockets for everything. Can't wait for flea market season, as this bag will be on my back for all of them. It's making it's first trip to Mexico next week as my carry on/purse/beach bag.

I am very pleased with this bag. It is sleek in its design. I love to travel with this because the bag has a zipper on the bottom so it can be attached to a luggage for fast airport travel. When I use this on a daily basis I wear it as a backpack. I like that there are options. As a working mother, I need bags that are versatile. The quality of the bag is stellar! I easily carry my laptop in this bag. It is so hard to believe this bag is made from recycled materials. Another reason I love it so much!

Looking for a convertible backpack for a subway commute, so this three-way bag looked promising. Pros: high quality materials and workmanship, just the right amount of space/pockets with a key fob in the bottom front pocket. Cons: (1) Main compartment is not waterproof due to the large openings at either end of the zipper. (2) The backpack shoulder straps are located a couple inches down from the top of the bag, which make the bag (even half full) sit uncomfortably away from your back unless the straps are tightened all the way. I also could not get the clasps on the backpack shoulder straps to open and detach from the loops on the bottom of the bag. The search continues...

This is a very cool bag, tons of pockets and strap options making it very versatile for travel or day to day. My only complaint was the backpack straps don't sit well, the bag sits up behind your head and they aren't very comfortable. If you are only planning on using the backpack straps occasionally this will work but I wanted something to wear exclusively as a backpack so I can be hands free when I'm traveling with my kids

This was a beautiful bag. As a Professor, it simply wasn't big enough for my needs. I loved the three-way straps offering so many possible ways to carry everything. Two suggestions: 1. The two handles needed to be slightly longer for a more comfortable fit on the shoulder. 2. An outside water bottle holder. The one inside took up too much needed space. The two-toned color was nice. Bag didn't weigh too much when loaded like a leather bag does.

This is the bag I've been looking for... and I've looked at a lot of them! I teach at university and this bag is really functional- cross body strap, grab straps and backpack straps. I can fit my computer, texts and other accoutrement I need for class. I also really like the black and birch colors- goes with almost everything I wear as well as my winter coats.

Such a cute bag! Love the color and the ability to use this bag as a cross body, hand bag, or shoulder. Unfortunately, it is waaaaay too narrow in depth. And there are NO inside pockets that zip. I can't imagine trying to use this bag as a carry on. I usually have a book, tablet, sunglasses, and travel documents (maybe some snacks), and that would be pushing the functionality of this item. Sadly, the cute bag has to go back.

I bought the bag to use for traveling and then a pool/beach bag. It served those purposes well and had enough room for everything but on the 4th day of use, the outside zipper got stuck badly and broke off. I was disappointed with the quality of the bag but super happy with Zappos! Thanks to their great customer service I was able to return the bag for a refund and a coupon for my next order! Love Zappos!

The bag I ordered arrived without the loop attachments to attach the backpack straps. It would be just what I needed if it had all the parts to attach the straps :(

We have an older version of a Patagonia lightweight travel tote (smaller than the currently available 22L one) that I was hoping to replace. After 5 hard years as a diaper bag, that thing had some rips... so I was hoping to find a similar shoulder and backpack-type bag. This is not it. The 2 shoulder straps are useless (to me) and don't even fit over your arm and onto your shoulder (I'm small, my average sized husband couldn't get them to his upper arm). I guess those are just straps to be carried with your hands? Not terribly helpful. This may not ruin it for everyone, but it did for me. Probably will buy the larger, new patagonia tote (the smaller one has been amazing for a diaper bag).
