I like the canvas material, totally bad ass looking, am so glad I stumbled upon these, not too heavy. My only gripe is the rear strap, Its pretty much useless to help put the boots on, it's in an odd location, needs to be raised up all the way to the top. When you pull up on the tab, it makes it harder to slip the boots on.. without having to unlace more than you'd like. I really dig these boots, just have to remember to unlace them a bit more than usual to put them on, no worries...I will definitely buy these again, hoping they relocate the rear strap thingie.

I always wanted to try Dr. Martens because supposedly once they break in they're the most comfortable, indestructible shoe ever. I liked that these ones were canvas and not leather so I decided to give them a try (it helped they were much cheaper). Well, these did not live up to the reputation. They were never overly comfortable, and although I loved the way they looked, they wore through in the back of the heal after 6-9 months.

I literally compared my other Doc's to these to verify I wasn't imaging things. These boots are at least half a size larger! Can't speak to the actual comfort since these swim on my foot, do like how they look. With the mesh on the outside did make me wonder if they would be workplace appropriate if you have guidelines.

They were really uncomfortable. They pinched right after the toes in the toe box and then again near the ankle. I've worn other doc martens and usually they feel like butter on your feet as soon as you slip them on. I did not have that feeling in these boots. I've worn them around the house on several different occasions hoping that they get better but they just don't. The material is a stiff canvas and just not likable. I am returning them.

I was excited to try on my new work boots when they arrived today. After pulling the laces completely out and put the right boot on, I could immediately tell these boots weren't going to work out for me. The area where the tongue begins was so tight it was uncomfortable on my foot. Again this is without laces, so I decided to take out the removeable insole, and that made them less tight, but at the cost of the insole? No, thank you. I still tried seeing if I could make them work even without the insoles, but after lacing the boots up, I realized the left boot was constructed slightly tighter than the right. So for how much I spent on these I would like to make them work. But not at the cost of my comfort while I work.
