They are brown. Zappos keeps sending email asking me to review this gift I bought for Christmas. I’m hoping by submitting to their demand I won’t get more emails.

The shoes fit but they just didn’t look as good in person. They looked a little too much like moccasins. I decided to return them.

Not the same Born insole or fit that i remember. Not sure what ever happened to their pillow type insole but these have a more unnatural feel. they also seem a little narrow but probably need a little breaking in. Overall i like the shoe so i’m keeping them, but it’s just not the same Born shoe anymore. ?

The shoe was loose in the heel and super tight in the toe area. I wore them for about 30 minutes and my toes started feeling numb, because they were so tight. The insole was not the same one I was use to in my other Born shoes.

I really wanted to like these loafers..Great materials and nice insole, however they just seemed plain as far as style goes. Also the right shoe seemed quite a bit wider than the left as if it was stretched out.

These fit well, nice cushioning, good arch support. I didn't like the look very much. They looked worn even though they were new. Why would they look like in a few months?

These are nice and I love Born shoes but did not fit my feet well. They are pretty narrow and my foot width is a D. I am returning.

For moderate walking and around the office, these shoes are great. Very comfortable. Ironically though, I found them very uncomfortable for driving.

nice looking and pretty comfortable, but too narrow in the toe box. I do generally prefer a pretty wide toe box though, so your preference may vary.

I wish these were offered in wide, because the toe box is much too narrow and they feel like they are a half to a full size smaller than a normal 12. It's too bad because they are a nice simple loafer. Nice soft leather and comfortable footbed.

These shoes are shorter in Length than a Standard 10.5, so I am returning them. They simply do not fit. Also the foot bed is odd. The foam is much deeper than on a standard 'driver' style moccasin. The foam is so thick that you feel you are wearing bed-room slippers on the street: that you are 'padding around' in them. These are "driving" shoes with a rounded heel, but they are so spongy they would be useless for driving.

Felt too narrow and a little tight in the toes

The shoes were slightly dried out upon receipt. Shoes were a little small and tight compared to the 4 other pairs of 10.5 I ordered at the same time.

Fit is 1/2 size too small. Great if you want athlete's foot, otherwise order one size larger than normal.

Scratched leather out of box. Horrible QA from manufacturer.

the color is a brighter white than the picture

I have flat feet. These shoes have more arch support than I need, so they hurt my feet. Also, more arch support than any of the the other Born shoes that I have bought in the past. Close to 10 pair. I will be returning these

Flimsy, thin leather, thick glued-in liners made using Superfeet arch supports fit correctly. Very sorry purchase.

Uncomfortable clown shoes that are too long. Tried 8, 8.5 & 9. I’m normally an 8.5. They slip in the back- don’t hug your heal.
