I ordered for my husband. He’s been wearing Born loafers for years. They are very comfortable and stylish. He does order half a size down.

They seemed tight when I first putthem on but the supple leather breaks in after a few days. I had ordered half a size larger due to reviews, but that fits looser. I'm ordering another pair bc I like them so much and it's hard to find a nice loafer.

I like these and will keep them but they should cost less for what they are. The leather is ok, not great. They run large and will likely stretch which is probably good because they have essentially no padding and will need a insole. But for cheap, everyday shows, they are fine.

These are a great casual shoe, and super comfortable. The leather WILL stretch. When I bought them they had a nice fit that was t too snug, but a a year later, and I wish I had gone down a half size. The break in period is not long.

I am flat footed, and too much arch support is uncomfortable. These border on too much

The shoes are a little tight/small for the size ordered. Hoping the leather will stretch out a little. I’ve had to wear them without socks so far but it’s only been 2-3 days. The toe box is the smallest and most uncomfortable part, so if you like toe room these are not the shoes for you.

These are the first loafers I've owned in a while. They are soft outer leather and incredibly comfortable. I ordered a 9 1/2 and float somewhere between that and a 9 and they fit perfectly. The one downside I see is they scratch pretty easily.

an 11.5 in just about everything so I tried these in both an 11.5 and 12, heeding the recommendations of the many reviewers to size up. I’m figured the 12 would be right, but you never know. I really needed about an 11.75 in these; the 11.5 just a bit too short since my toes were right at the top and the 12 just a bit too voluminous. Returning both in favor of the TB Orion.

Born is a brand that I have had a good experiences with, the shoe is a driving loafer.This is not a shoe for trekking, quality materials, the price can't be beat. The most important part of the equation is the outstanding service that Zappos give their customers.

This is my 4th pair of Allans, the first I’ve bought in a couple of years. These definitely run a half size small and have a comparatively narrower and less square toe box. Disappointed. Sending back.

These shoes fit fine IF YOU REMOVE THICK INNER SOLE which comes from Born. I just inserted a thinner inner sole, end of problem. Born sole insert is MUCH TOO THICK .

Based on previous reviews, I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear. For me, I don't think the larger size was necessary - the bigger size is a loose fit.

Like others noted, get a least half a size larger than your normal shoe - even with that, these are snug with just thin dress socks on. Overall they are decent, although they tend to bow out at the middle while walking which is a little annoying. They are pretty comfortable but I would want to wear them if I was walking around all day. Good deal for the price - overall a decent shoe but I am also glad I didn't pay more.

Nicely made and great quality. Good cushioning on the inside. Felt a bit small. I would definitely recommend getting half a size or a full size larger.

A nice looking loafer with quality construction. Fit is true to size. The soft leather makes them comfortable for wear at home or the office. The softness and minimal arch support make them unsuitable for any longer walking, like walking the mall.

Great pair of loafers. I previously purchased a pair Born dress boots that fit perfectly so when I was on the market or a pair of loafers I decided to go with Born, mainly due to how well the 1st pair fit. The toe box is tight on these loafers, the natural leather upper should break in nicely.

Overall, I like the shoes a lot. The size of the shoe does run a half size smaller. This was actually okay for me since I find my foot is actually in between sizes. Overall, the shoe feels comfortable and I'm pleased with the purchase!

The forefoot and toe box are so narrow that these are uncomfortable. Need to be redesigned.

These Born shoes ran small and narrow. Always wore a size 12 D width in several other pairs of Born shoes over the years. Many reviewers were on the mark with this particular style shoe regarding fit. Will be returning.

This shoe looks great and is what I was looking for, however the insole is too thick for the style of shoe. Not only is it too thick, but it is straight foam and offers little to no support. I ripped them out and put in my own insole. Now I wear them every day.

They're beautiful and have a great insole. I ordered my usual size and there's nothing unusual about my feet. But they were way too small and VERY narrow. I couldn't even get them on my feet.

Way to narrow and no half sizes after 12. Very disappointed....
