These shoes look lovely with a pair of slacks. The contrast toe is a nice detail. I feel they're less cute with skirts just because the high inside profile makes them a little chunkier than I prefer. They have a high instep and I do feel rubbing there by the end of the day, but that happens to me with many shoes. They are leather with a slight elastic pucker and I feel reasonably confident that they (and my feet) will adjust with more wear. I bought these hoping they lived up to the "all day wear" promise. If it's a day I'm on my feel literally 8 hours, they don't prevent the usual backache but my feet are fine.

Super cute and super comfy! They look great and are comfortable to walk all day in the city. I have feet that are wide in the toe box but normal in the heels, which causes lots of wide shoes to slip in the back, but not these. They could use a little more volume in the toe box, as the top of the shoe digs in a bit on my bigger foot, but I think in time the leather will stretch.

I tried the 8 1/2 first which is my normal size but had to exchange it for an 8. It runs a little long. Clarks have rarely disappointed me. The Alitay Susan is a nice looking and comfortable. There is a a 1/2 inch lift that makes it stylish and the patent cap toe is dressy. I am very happy with my purchase!

been looking for a comfortable low heel dress shoe; and these clarks are it. they are comfortable and well made. I think i will get a lot of use out of them.

These shoes are so comfortable... fit is spot on, and they are gorgeous. Really well made. The artisan Clark's is great. I get compliments all the time on these.

I ordered about 8 pairs of black flats in my size (10W) before I got these lovelies. VERY comfy and supportive. Not as cute as other options, but can get you through a long day with lots of walking,

Shiny toe, slight lift of a heal, soft and comfortable. They will require a bit of breaking in as the top of the heel digs a bit. The style and overall comfort of the rest of this shoe make it worth the work.

Wore these shoes right out of the box and they didn't disappoint. Very comfortable, look good with jeans or a skirt. I stand on my feet all day and these shoes were comfortable all day long.

Ding, ding, ding! These are a winner, for sure!!! I thought I wanted a heel, but I ordered these on a whim, and I was sold. Comfortable and pretty, looks good with skirts or pants, just enough style with the patent leather toe, and just enough of a heel hidden inside. Perfection!

These are very comfortable, except they hit a nerve on my foot. I will have to look for non-ballet flats next time. Thanks, Zappos, for free returns!

Excellent quality leather and comfort lining such that I do not think wear would stretch them at all so very, very highly recommend if your exact size is available especially if you need a classier look in a flat that truly is elevated a bit in support. I am typically in between 9-9½ and when ordering wide the 9½ sometimes is too big and this 9W is a tad too small with super high quality leather that I am certain will not give.

I am in love with these shoes, and anxious for Clarks to come out with a similar shape that does not have the toe cap or a bow. The toe shape is very pretty (not too round, not too pointy), and the very slight incline keeps them from looking ducky like many flats do. If these came in solids or prints or more textures, I would buy them in several colors. I have a wide forefoot and a narrower ankle. I like to have a back that cups the heel, and these do that well with a nice little bit of cushion around the heel. After a year and a half of classroom teaching, and 6 weeks of physical therapy after an ankle injury, these shoes are a godsend for how to still look stylish at work without killing myself in heels!

Fabulous! I work on my feet all day, but have to be dressed relatively professionally, and these are wonderful. They're really cute, versatile, well-made, and comfortable. Feel true to size all around. Highly, highly recommend...worth the money!

These are great! I love little flats but have trouble wearing them because off the lack of support. But with this show you have a cute little flat with the great Clark's support.

I love these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable. I wore them at an even where I was standing for hours and they were still comfortable by the end. I love how these shoes have a padded section at the back, which prevents any rubbing where the shoe hits the back of my heel.

I love love love Clark’s. These shoes are incredibly comfortable. My only frustration is the style of shoe isn’t like normal Clark’s where there’s extra protection on the heel. This has led to scuffs in the leather since I’m pretty hard on my shoes. Otherwise no regrets on this shoe.

These flats were really comfortable, but I couldn't pair the color with any of my clothes. They are pink, not really the nude I was expecting. Too bad.

I tried these on at the store in both a 6.5 and 7 mediums, and ended up ordering 6.5 wide from Zappos, and these are the best. These do run slightly narrow if you have bunions, and because of the slightly elasticized edge (yes, there is an actual elastic hidden in there somewhere, though this is may be hard to imagine form the look at the shoe) it felt like there just would not be enough give or stretch in that area. Strangely enough the 6.5 medium actually bothered my bunion less than the 7 medium, probably because the edge fell in just the wrong place in the 7 and the 7 is not much wider in the middle. Unfortunately the nude color seems to be all sold out in the nude 6.5 wide, or i would be trying that too. Might just live with the 6.5M. All that said, these are quite soft and comfortable, but the arch support is rather mediocre for clarks, though quite sufficient as compared to most flats. And if the elastic doesn't bother, then the shoe is heavenly in its softness and flexibility. Also, going slightly larger is ok, since the two typically Clark's heal-holder bumps at the back are very good at keeping the shoe on. Finally, style wise i LOVE the shape and contrast of the toe - pointy just enough (wish more clarks were this shape rather than old-ladyish square toes!) and the contrast makes it dressy but is subdued enough for more casual wear as well. Personally i wish they had left out the elastic and just let the leather do its work, then this would be the truly perfectly comfortable dressy flat.

Pros: great style for a black flat, it doesn't squash my big toe, cushioned inside Cons: had to stretch out the edge of the front upper due to my high arch I guess, also added Dr. Scholl's arch supports

I've never been much of a Clarks fan but these are truly impressive flats! Feel great right out of the box, quality footbed that won't make my feet sweaty and stinky. I ordered the dusty pink and it's a nice touch of oomph for basic outfits but still neutral, so it will go with just about everything. I might get these in nude, too.

Cute pink flats that go perfectly with navy slacks. The gold toe part does get scuffed up easily. Not much arch support but the shoe overall is comfortable, the leather material stretches and there is some padding on the bottom of the shoe.

These are very comfortable flats with hidden support. I have super flat feet and cant usually wear flats. But, these are great! I have the black suede, and wore them all winter. This spring I ordered them in nude. The style is slightly different, but the foot bed is the same. Returned them because the color is on the pink side of nude and I thought it would be difficult to wear with much; not as neutral as I was going for.
