I wear a lot of Docs and this was my first time with this style, they fit as expected to other styles/sizes and have great comfort and support. It needed a little breaking in on my right foot - a little uncomfortable after the first wear but then I was fine. Love the style.

I love, love, love these! I am gonna buy more! They are cute and look great with pants or skirts. They are more comfortable than I expected.

I love this shoe! It was a little roomy so I ordered a size down but it was too small. They are still cute though so I don't mind them being a little roomy and they're still very comfortable and flattering.

Fantastic style of shoe, however, the rumors are true...the shoes run large which is a bummer because when I first put them on, I felt like a clown! I got over it though because I'm a true 8.5 and I ordered a size 8 so they fit like a 9, but the extra toe room is not horrible. I wish Dr. Martens gave the option of half sizes :( but its okay, great shoe anyway!

Disappointed in these as I have an old pair of the same size and ordered a replacement and the new pair is too small. Be warned that you may need to size up in these now.

I think these are really cute and have gotten even more comfortable as I continue to wear them. They do run a bit big -- I am generally a size 8 but ordered the 7 as recommended by other reviews. They fit fine. I love that they are Dr. Martens but don't really look like them as I am 56 and don't want to appear like I'm trying too hard to look young.

I read reviews before ordering and must agree with everyone who recommended to go one size down. I was a little wary at first, as I own two pairs of Doc Marten boots and am normally a size 9, but finally decided that with free return shipping I may as well listen to other reviewers, and ordered a size 8 :) I'm glad I did! They are perfect! Unfortunately, as other reviewers have also mentioned, the back of the heels have been KILLING me for the first few wears! I've only worn them about five times so far, but each time I have had blisters and pain on the back of my heels. Putting a little bit of tape/a cotton pad on my heels has helped a bit, as does wearing a thin pair of socks. I'm hoping as I break them in this will be less of an issue. Overall, I really really love these shoes. Besides the pain in the heel, they are extremely comfortable-- I have flat feet and they have moderate arch support, and the soles are very cushiony and comfortable. They are also SUPER CUTE!

This shoe runs big! I have a pair of Dr. Marten boots and I do not have the same problem. Even if I were to wear a fat padded sock, these would still be too big. Have to return them. For reference I ordered the US sz. 7 / UK sz. 5 and it was probably almost a size 8 and I am a very solid size 7.

I haven't worn Doc Martens for years, but always found them really comfortable and always wore the same size. I was excited to try this updated version, but they felt quite narrow to me, and overall like my arch was hitting the wrong part of the footbed. I don't think a larger size will really help with these issues, so these shoes are going back. Too bad.
